We used to love these treats. Our dog takes about four medications a day, the most important of which is his gabapentin for seizures. He also eats a vegetarian diet due to colitis. We always cut his pills into small bits and put them inside a few Zuke's peanut butter and oat treats. They used to be soft enough to do that and it was absolutely perfect. They recently changed the recipe and now the treats are incredibly crumbly and dry. The formulation is absolutely terrible. The entire bag is full of weird yellow stuff covering all the treats that looks awful and scary but I'm assuming it's just the crumbled treats? I hope. These are some of the only treats he can eat as he is on a vegetarian diet due to his colitis. Today I drove around our city for two hours desperately trying to find any remaining bags of the old formulation and at one of the stores the cashier even brought up how bad the new recipe is. I almost never write reviews for anything but I feel so strongly about how terrible this is, that I feel compelled to speak up. Please Zuke's, go back to the old recipe! This is a huge miss.

My dog, Mikey, loves these treats. He gets them as an incentive to poop outside and be good.

So happy to have found treats that our Havanese can eat AND LOVES the flavor! Shes allergic to chicken. Prior treats were Blue Dog Bakery beef and were discontinued. Ive given away hundreds of dollars in dog food and assorted treats/biscuits that shes refused to eat. Love the small size and i use them as reinforcements for training. Ingredients basic , simple and clear. A bit pricey for me personally, but have not been able to locate more affordable treats.

Discontinued use because of sugar in the ingredients. Too bad - my dog loved these so much. But I don't want to be feeding her sugar.

I normally buy the chicken type. I got the peanut butter and oat recently. These are hard as a rock and not good. I will be discarding them. The other ones are so much softer and our dog likes them better. I would think for the price of a bag these wouldn't come out as stale and hard immediately upon opening.

My puppy is not that interested in this training treat. Freeze dried beef liver seems to be the ticket.

Hi. My pup loves these treats but I am concerned about the level of sodium since she was recently diagnosed with heart disease. Can you please the % or mg of sodium? Thank you.

Since I use treats for training I usually break them in half. Thankfully I did because I found a piece of blue PLASTIC inside one of the treats. I will not be buying from this company again and I suggest you don't either. (We have emailed to let the company know.)
