Her first impression: She called it the “cutest summer orange ever.” It’s a soft, juicy, creamsicle-like orange, bright, playful, and super flattering, especially if you have even a little bit of a tan. It instantly made her nails look fun and bold without going neon.

The color in the photo is way lighter and more jelly than how it appears in person just in the bottle. Upon application the first coat is thin and jelly however each additional layer just makes it cloudy and bubbly.

With a subtle pink jelly look it just adds a pop of warmth. The picture your traditional polish and just give it something extra so you are running out to buy variety of shades.

Streaky and not really jelly
Streaky. Not jelly. Not transparent unless you do one coat (which looks streaky). If you specifically want jelly polish don’t get this one.

I really liked that the polish lasted over a week without me having to reapply. This color is called Slushy Sun a pretty light pink perfect for the summer. Glossy pink
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review. The shade Slushy Sun is a sheer, light pink, jelly shade that is a nice everyday neutral. I'm not sure this gives the jelly effect as much as a gel polish would, as it's just a glossy pink, but it can be built up. I have several similar shades already in my collection and this one unfortunately doesn't stand out in the way I thought it would from the description. This wore well for about three days before chipping with two coats applied. This can be layered with other shades and works as a topper to help even out polishes that do not give even coverage. I wish this had better longevity and will stick with Essie's Gel Line as they last longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was the lack of the noxious scent that nail polish normally has. That's a huge plus for me. The packaging looks great to me. It shows off the beautiful color well, looks good and the lid fits well in my hand and fingers. I also feel good knowing that the formula is vegan. I think that the price is reasonable for a good nail polish. It also went on smooth, like a dream. My problem is with the sheerness. I guess I didn’t use it right, but I wanted to use just this color, not layer it with another. Two coats wasn’t near enough. I didn’t want to wait to do 4+ coats.

Unlike traditional colors, the Jelly Gloss shades can be used in 1, 2, 3 or even 4 layers for great color and long wear.
