I loved this boxed brownie! Definitely fudgey and tasty. This was a first as well using butter instead of oil in a box recipe and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I used salted butter so it definitely gave it a salty tone but I love salt. For people who don’t want that extra salty taste I would use unsalted butter.

Dolly’s Brownies Were Too Good to Resist
I donated some Dolly Parton Fudge Brownie mix to the school food drive so someone could enjoy it as much as I do. Apparently, someone had heard about Dolly’s delicious brownies and couldn’t resist taking it from the donation box…The principal had to check the security camera to find the brownie bandit! Yes, Dolly's brownies are just that irresistible.

Salty
We have made these brownies many times. Sometimes they are incredibly delicious. But lately they’ve been so so so so salty. Inedible. And we always use unsalted butter so it’s confusing as to the overly salty outcome. Sadly the inconsistency is troubling so we n the e to stop wasting the expensive butter only to throw the batches out. There is clearly an issue at the manufacturing step.

Amazing. Truly the best mix out there. I used Double Fudge with Kerrygold unsalted butter and a teaspoon of instant coffee. I back 30 mins in an 8x8 pan. Perfect.

Absolutely Fantastic brownies!! When I stumbled across the mix, I knew Mrs. Parton would never just “sell” her name, I expected them to be good, however they are exceptional! Awful taste
This is the 2nd time buying a dolly parton themed product. I am very disappointed. The latest was the turtle brownies. They tasted like cardboard. Will not be trying any other dolly Parton themed products.

The only box brownies I buy!
I am a brownie girl, I'll almost always choose brownies over cookies or cake. These are the only box brownies I buy. I used to make from scratch but I bought these because they were on sale and I was feeling lazy. Now I just get these all the time. They are rich and fudgy. If I'm in the mood for a more cake like brownie, I use an extra egg. They always have that shiny, flaky layer on top.

The Queen has done it!
Jolene can have my man if she just leaves these brownies! I'm a big fan of less cakey, more dense brownies and these delivered. Definitely easy to make and super tasty. The instructions also leave nothing to chance, they tell you about how many times to knead the fudget and stir the batter.

Missing Sauce!
I just purchased this and it didn't have any chocolate sauce in the box! I am making it by adding my own as its too late to return when I need to make brownies, so I'm sure its not going to be that good. I quickly read some other reviews and see its common that this has happened... very sad. I guess I won't get my hopes up that they will be very good, and I guess will also be salty :(

I was watching a short video from Bunnie (Jelly Roll's wife) she was showing a dinner she was cooking for her husband and that was baking his favorite brownies She stated you can't go wrong with Dolly Parton's brownie mix. She showed the box and said that is by far Jelly Roll's favorite. I told my husband about it who does the baking. He has always been a fan of Duncan Hines. However the Dolly Parton box is by far the best you can buy. Fudgy & amazing.

Brownies That Live Up To Dolly's Reputation
I've just made my 4th pan of Dolly's Brownies. Now, I added a teaspoon of Madagascar Vanilla, because I add extra vanilla to just about Everything I can, Yum! I also add a 1/2 cup of Mini M&Ms, I like the extra crunch. Add more to the top for decoration. These are the best box brownies I've ever made. Kudos to Dolly for a great line of goodies!
