A: The green area on the sensors do change color to indicate freshness. When the sensor is green, it means the milk is fresh. When the sensor turns brown, it indicates the milk is no longer fresh. This makes it easy for anyone with access to the frozen bags to verify freshness.

Must Have for Pumping Mamas!

Not a fan. It's hard to pick up sensors to scan. Plus i pumped on May 1st went to scan and check a bag and said it was good until May 9th. Thats 8 days when cdc says 4 days!

Thanks for your feedback, we’re sorry the sensor was hard to scan and that the date didn’t align with CDC guidelines. Our system estimates freshness based on temperature history, but we always recommend following CDC standards if in doubt.

Convenience for moms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezing milk for my baby is something i have done in the past but i was looking forward to using Dr Talbot's Mom MilkFresh sensors this time around. The option to know how long the milk will be good for is very satisfying. Milk can be stored in the fridge or freezer and using the app you can figure out when it will go bad. Very easy to use and bring a lot of convenince to a mom.

Good for an overproducer or new mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a few of these stickers and they’re a really sturdy material, I really like how the packaging and the actual design is durable. They were pretty accurate up to 2 days as that’s as long as my little guy has milk sit before he chugs it. They were effective in that I was able to log my amount and keep track of notes on my phone!

Difficulty logging milk bags into app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I would not buy this product again. It takes more time to put the sensors on and log in the app than just to store in the freezer. I believe a good place for these sensors would be during travel, where the temperature of the milk should be monitored more closely. The main reason for my poor rating was the fact that I received a “logging issue” on 3 of the first 5 sensors I used. The first three I tried said that the time of activation did not match on the app. It shows you the option to manually change the time, but does not allow you to press enter and save the manual time. I was only able to get two of the sensors to input into the app. Besides the initial logging issue, I am able to pull up the bags in the app and see the date they were entered/how long they will be good for.

Great for travelling

Take the guesswork out of logging and storing your

It’s not that the product is bad, I just feel like as a new mom we have a lot of things that we need to purchase and this product is not going to be something I buy, especially since you just throw it away after. Breastfeeding moms already have so much to worry about when it comes to the safety of breastmilk, I don’t think adding another step is the answer
