The chairs themselves seem to be great quality. The fabric is nice and I love the style. One of the chairs was missing a portion of the hardware from the bag.

This is a beautiful chair but I do agree with other reviews that the straight back is a bit uncomfortable. It’s not a huge issue for me, as me and my husband are both short, but it does hit you right in the middle of the back and there is no curve whatsoever. Really a shame that they didn’t add just a slight bend to the back support. I will keep anyway because I love that the fabric can be removed and washed, and the wood tone is slightly cool gray, which is hard to find. I have the Emerson reclaimed dining table from West Elm and this matched perfectly.

This chair is beautiful, well-made, and easy to assemble, but it’s not comfortable for your back. It forces you to sit upright, so you can only sit in it for a few minutes before your back starts to hurt. I’m very sad because they are beautiful.

Extremely strong VOC off gassing! When opening the box, the room filled with chemical smell and I had to open a window. If you put your nose up to a cushion, it is almost overpowering. I had to move these to the garage to air out, and I’m afraid they’ll continue to emit VOCs even after a few days. They look pretty nice, though the seat depth feels deeper than normal.

I was really hoping maybe the straight back of this chair would not be as uncomfortable as it looks, but it sure is. The chairs arrived flat packed and have to be put together, which was straightforward and easy. The chair cushion detaches for easy cleaning, and they are very nice quality for the price. That said, I am sending them back unfortunately because no one could sit in these for a full meal without a backache.
