Disney Princess Moana 2 Styling Head 14-pieces Pretend Play

This toy is a piece of crap. Don’t waste your money. The bands aren’t elastic and are useless. Hair is too thick and wiry to be brushed easily. The hair accessories don’t stay in and don’t fit and are difficult, if not impossible, to use. They are also useless. I had to get hair accessories so my granddaughter could play with it. Took forever to get it out of the box. Ridiculous packaging.

We received this Moana hair styling doll as a birthday gift, and there are a few standout positives along with several frustrating design issues. Pros: The doll’s hair texture is excellent and feels very true to Moana’s character—soft, curly, and with a nice natural sheen. It’s probably the most authentic feature of the toy and does make it visually appealing. Cons: Unfortunately, the accessories significantly limit the play experience. The included hair pieces feel like generic molded plastic and don’t add much value. The rubber bands are not elastic, so they can’t actually be used to tie or style the hair effectively. The comb is small and not very functional, especially given the thickness and curl of the doll’s hair, which makes detangling or styling difficult. The clips are also tricky for little hands to manage, which is disappointing for a toy clearly aimed at children. The color choices for the accessories don’t feel cohesive or true to the Moana theme—bright yellow and blue feel out of place. The earrings are oddly designed and don’t stay in the advertised positions. Another major issue is the hair density. It’s extremely thick for a styling toy, which makes it difficult to create neat hairstyles. Combined with the bust-style head that doesn’t stand on its own, it becomes awkward for a child to play independently—kids are left trying to hold the head, manage the hair, and style it all at once. Overall, while the hair itself is well done, the usability and accessory design make it a frustrating toy for hairstyling play, especially for younger children.

Very disappointed that I received my order after Christmas when it originally suppose to be received by 12/24.
