Fire hazard

I bought this 6 months ago, didn’t really use it until about two months ago. Today I walked 2.5 miles, waited about 30 min bc it tends to over heat then did 1.5 more miles. When I stopped it there was a flash of orange and now my house smells like something is burning.

Had high hopes

I had high hopes for the walking pad, but after reaching out to customer service twice, I ultimately returned it. It also requires downloading an app to use. It emits a high, obnoxious being noise when you turn it on and when you want to change speeds. There is no way to turn this down or off. the walking pad runs quiet until you walk on it and then it makes a loud noise. tried loosening and tightening the belt, adding oil to the belt from customer service recommendations. Nothing worked.
