A: Thank you for asking about the Crayola Color Chemistry Lab Set. At this time, we can share that Crayola Dough, Glitter Dots, and Easy Peel Crayon Pencils (not included in this product) are manufactured with wheat (flour) as an ingredient and therefore are not considered gluten free. Most other Crayola products, including Silly Putty, do not contain wheat or other grains known to be a source of gluten. Multiple Crayola products are produced in the same manufacturing facilities and on the same machinery. While there is a slight chance of cross-contamination, the machinery used to manufacture Crayola products is cleaned between production runs in a manner that meets or exceeds all regulations. This does not apply to licensed products, such as Crayola-brand bath, personal care, or food items, which are manufactured by licensing partners. Deceptive packaging.
Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson. Package is deceptive. In big print box says instructions for 50 experiments at the top, BUT tiny print at the bottom says supplies for ONLY 16 experiments. Not happy with that.

Bouncy ball fail
As with everyone else the bouncy ball experiment was a fail. I am surprised to learn due to the length of time this product has been out and the continued failure of the one experiment crayola would not fix the experiment or remove it. Very disappointed in this. Also why not have sn option to buy refills. Overall poor.

Bouncy ball experiment was horrible
We got the science experiment kit for Christmas for my 8 year old. We tried the bouncy ball one first. It flopped both times and now we are out of the silicone parts. It didn’t set at all it just stayed liquid. I really hope that the other experiments are better she was very disappointed.

Hands On Learning Kit
My kids got this as a gift & have LOVED doing all the experiments so far. Honestly we haven’t tried the bouncer ball everyone’s talking about so I can’t speak to that. But this kit provides lots of activities, so you can do one or a couple, and then come back to it a different day. Not just a one and done in one day. The glow worms worked for us, and were a big hit. Just hold them up to a light or flashlight (like anything glow in the dark), before you turn the lights off or take them to a dark place. The color wheel (primary & secondary), was a fun way to learn. I just made extra color wheels out of paper from home, to accommodate more than one kid. The volcano went well & kids were excited. We did everything together & they really liked helping. Very much a hands-on learning kit. I would give this as a gift to others to enjoy. This is great for learning at home or home school.

Waste of money.
Silicone bouncy ball didn't harden. Poor instructions (ticks instead of millilitres). Red ink is pink. No cleanup instructions.

Disappointed
My kid got this box for his birthday. The first experiment he wanted to try was the bouncy ball, however it never got solid, just made a big mess because it started leaking.

Bouncy Ball Fail
Got it twice. Both times the bouncy ball didn't even slightly solidify, just like it says in some of the reviews. It made a mess when it started to drip out of the container. Wish it came with the supplies to do all of the experiments though.

Still issues with the silicone it seems
I read up to see if I was the only one who had issues with the booger slime and bouncy ball. We followed the directions closely and it's still completely liquid. I'm unsure what's going on with this but it needs an actual review from the manufacturer. It looks like 2 years ago someone said the same thing and it still hasn't been fixed.

Worth it.
We have returned to this again and again. “Played” with it already 5+ for 10+ hours and still only have completed about half the experiments. Well worth the price! My son is 6 and he is the perfect age.

Nothing works
So far we’ve tried the glow worms and the bouncy ball. The glow worms don’t glow, and the bouncy ball is still liquid after an hour.. I have a disappointed little boy :( it’s a cute kit, lots of great items, but it’s kind of pointless if the experiments don’t work

Waste
This is a waste! Most of the “50” experiments are really the same thing over and over with the slightest variation. There isn’t even enough of all of the necessary supplies in the box.

Bouncy Ball experiment complete fail
Tried to do the bouncy ball experiment with my daughter and we followed the instructions to the letter. The silicon solution did not even attempt to harden or solidify. Very disappointing and wish that the product quality would be significantly better
