The directions provided with this item are TERRIBLE. They are not clear and begin as if one of the steps has already been completed. The directions make it appear as though all of the legs should be attached - the middle two are, the outer two are not. The diagrams provided in the instructions do not make it clear how or where to attach the two outer legs. After I have guessed and checked about how and where to attach the outer legs, I have gotten to the final step only to find out that the braces don't line up. Now, I need to take the legs off again (good luck because all of the screws are stripped) and try to attach them the correct way so that the braces will be able to be attached. IF clear directions were included, and IF the product came assembled the way it appears to in the instruction booklet, this product may be okay. However, I'm still not sure if mine will be get assembled correctly or if it will have to be returned to the store.

The directions for putting this bed together were terrible and totally missing one key step. The first diagram did not match what came in the box. No written instructions, just pictures, which did not adequately illustrate key connections. After assembly, the bed would not fold up. Once I took everything apart and reconfigured things, the bed was fine. Do any Target employees ever do a dry run on assembling products like these?

Great bed frame
Great bed frame! Bought it on a whim because the guest room needed an upgrade. One of the best self-assembled bed frames I've used in almost a decade. Nothing is scratched or damaged. Assembly was a breeze and took just over an hour to disassemble the old metal frame/spring. All bolts lined up nicely, screws were pretty much packed, spares were included for each, and threaded inserts were included for all accessories. Even came with a hex tool with ratchet to fit all spaces. The slats have tenons in the middle to align, and the felt and velcro included to prevent snagging and keep them in place. Drilled a few holes and used lag bolts to secure our current headboard straight through the side against the wall. The headboard is against the wall, but both are very sturdy. Highly recommend this bed frame if you need a bed frame for a memory foam mattress that needs a sturdy base (not a box spring).

Luxurious bed at an amazing price!
bought a black queen size bed and it has totally exceeded my expectations. It took my husband about two hours to put it together but it is very well made and super sturdy. It doesn't squeak or make any noise when we lay down on it. The storage under the bed is amazing! There is a lot of space under the bed and it is super easy to open and close. It looks very modern and I am very happy with my purchase so far!
