Q: Is there any finish already on the bench? It does not appear to be bare acacia but maybe stained. It looks great, and the wrong protection (oil, varnish, shellac) added will ruin it, so I need to know

Porch Benches

I love these benches and can’t wait to style them out. We used a drill to assemble faster, but using the tool provided would have been fine. The only hang up we had was a misalignment one seat, but we were able to adjust the slat slightly by shaving off a bit to accommodate. Overall, highly recommend this bench and glad I bought two of them. The care instructions are super helpful and I anticipate these lasting a long time.

Porch bench

Very easy to put together. Took maybe 10 mins alone. It does its job for being a bench out front on the porch. Not the most comfortable thing but again it’s more for just a short sitting and not gonna watch a movie in it. Also the wood is darker than the picture which I was fine with. Also liked how I didn’t have to have the logo facing forward. I was able to flip it around.

worth it

easy to assemble. just needed a #2 point phillips to finish it. looks nice. sat a combined weight of about 290# and not so much as a squeak. did have a sharp place on the back side of a latch which cut my thumb (slightly). holes all lined up. will oil with tung oil, should have a nice warm color. should fit nicely on the pontoon boat.

Easy to assemble, truly

I have only put this together. It seems very sturdy, but not so heavy i cannot move it alone. I was able to put it together by myself. I am 67 female and I have arthritis in my hands and arms. For safety reasons I'm going to have my brother in law do a final tightening. It looks beautiful. I bought a cushion, but it is comfy without a cushion. I hope it holds up because I really like it

Beautiful!

Replaced a tired rattan bench on the front porch. This was super easy to put together ( 6 screws) and seems sturdy and well made. I rubbed on two coats of Howard's sun shield which left it with a beautiful patina. Very pleased.

Easy to assemble classic, but...

This bench took under 15 minutes to assemble. The packaging was great and the bench looks stunning! Literally everyone passing by complements it. However, it doesn\'t feel sturdy and the horizontal slats cave when you sit on it. I\'ll be adding a couple of pieces of framing under the seating area to make it stronger. Also, the manufacturer cautions against using this in rain or moisture. The title says it is \"outdoor\", which is strange. I added additional waterproofing as a precaution.

I love this bench! It is on the cheaper side so I wasn't sure how the quality would be, but it is awesome! It's comfortable and fits 2 adults comfortably. I love it!

Cute, but not sturdy or weather proof

We like the size and color, the design is cute. It's wobbly once put together and doesn't feel very sturdy. The first time it rained, it stained our brand new concrete that was laid a few weeks ago. It might be good for a garden with rocks or grass, definitely not concrete.

Stylish and sturdy outdoor seating for relaxation

I couldn't be happier with my choice. This bench has truly transformed my tiny front yard into a cozy relaxing haven. The first thing that impressed me about this bench is it's construction. The sturdy acacia wood frame not only looks elegant but also assures durability. I can tell that this bench is built to last, even in various weather condition. It is comfortable to seating, the cozy armrest and backrest design provide exceptional comfort and it is 2 person loveseat. Also, it is very easy to build up. I like it very much.
