Worked with Ikea SM?STAD Loft Bed with 8\' ceiling. Used binder clips to hang small blankets over both ends for extra coziness.

Hard to assemble, leans
The instructions were super vague. It\'s not as sturdy as I had hoped, if a pillow or blanket is leaning on it the whole tent shifts.

Sturdy through tantrums
Sturdy. Of course it’s not made of upholstery fabric but my son would kick and push and pull his tent when he throws his tantrums and I have yet to see one tear. Seems from the reviews, some people have trouble building it and that’s why there are negative reviews. I agree the poles should be retractable-like or have an elastic string in them because they come apart easily. But I can’t imagine having to rebuild this all the time. I have it up 100% of the time because it covers the top bunk perfectly with a twin bed inside. I wouldn’t recommend building it and taking it down consistently.

Terrible item dont waste time unless you are an advid tent camper sets tents up alot but does not dolve other problems
As another person said FIBERGLASS in some poles I had a few in my hand never let my kids in that Plus junk!! sounded so good in the description I and my kids so excited!! Missing parts and flimsy it’s like putting a real tent together not for kids won’t stay up and open and the material for where you put a million poles is so thin it rips or when or where you put poles material no holes to put poles sewed shut I’m highly disappointed in this item And now target will refund me but gotta try to get back in box and figure all poles out I’d rather dumb it then figure this out after took me 2 hours to figure out oh yeah let’s not forget the directions lol no help

Dont bother
Took me 2 hours to put together because the instructions are terrible and they give you individual poles instead of ones that snap together and of course the tent is missing ONE pole so it doesn't actually work. Tried contact target and they just keep disconnecting from me. Really infuriating.

Do not buy
This tent is awful. AWFUL. it’s a child’s play tents and it comes with POLES that snap together and come apart all the time. I constantly have to go in and fix them. The poles done actually fit and are either too short or sticking out about 4 inches.

Great idea, but overpriced.
We bought this for our 6 year old daughter's birthday, and she loves it. As others have noted, the assembly directions are frustratingly unclear, so you'll have to look at the tent, find the sleeves the poles go into, and do some problem-solving of your own. I am also skeptical of the quality/longevity of the tent material and the poles. It's a great toy idea, but it's grossly overpriced. We were thinking of getting another one for our son, but I wouldn't pay over $40 for it (and that's pushing it).

Great for hotel sleep for a kid or 2.
My kid loves this thing. It’s open on both ends and it’s airy. Very roomy, we fit a 2 & four year old in it with enough room left for like 30 stuffies. It packs down really small. The only downside is the “tent poles” are such garbage quality, you really have to work to get them in and out. They catch on the fabric sleeves, they pull apart. It really takes time to stuff them in carefully, when I feel like they should just slide through. After taking it up and down like 6 times in a week, we hid it for a few months to take a break. But that will keep the novelty alive.

Great Tent for Low Price
This is a great size tent! My two sons love playing in it. The instructions truly were not that difficult. You connect some sticks and thred them through the built-in fabric slots in the tent. Easy-peasy, only took me two episodes of Bluey to set it up. (My photo has cushions in it, which don’t come with it!)

Directions are worthless
The WORST DIRECTIONS ever. I agree with Joe. Throw it in the bonfire. We finally got it. It’s cute and worth it, haha.

Cute
As a finished product, it's very cute and my 10 year old loves how it takes up almost the entire top bunk as a hideaway spot for her. It stays pretty sturdy, even if you move it around while assembled. But I will say, for whatever reason, this thing was a pain in the rear to get together! I've assembled many large pieces of furniture by myself (including said bunk bed), but this took me far longer and more energy than I'd like to admit… otherwise nice product

Assembly Miserable
Directions are terrible. Very difficult to put together. Took 2 adults over 2 hours. Considered returning it or even at one point wanted to toss it into a bonfire and watch it burn. Now that it is finally together, the child seems to like it. The cat's think it is for them. We shall see how it holds up up.

Unhappy
Very difficult to put together, and it comes with a storage bag but nearly impossible to take down and store. Poorly designed for too much money in my Opinion.

Really nice tent. My kids love it..
Huge tent.. plenty big enough for a both 13 and 10 year old to lay down in or hang out in together. It’s as long as a queen bed is wide.. The biggest issue was a few of the arching poles were slightly more difficult than others to get into the tabs at the bottom, but definitely not a deal breaker.

I wish they were longer, there is a portion of the bed that doesnt get covered. With that being said, my kids love it. Its like sleeping in a tunnel!!
