Costway Height Adjustable Play Kitchen Wooden Kitchen Playset with Real Lights & Sounds

I got this on sale for $90. In my opinion, it's definitely worth the sale price, but not full price. Now for the good, bad, and ugly.... The good: The paint is nice quality with a smooth finish. Mine didn't have any imperfections in the paint or wood. Countertop is made very well, which is great because it will take a lot of the beating from the kids playing. The hardware is good and made for a solid build. I like the layout and the height adjusting feet is a great bonus. I love that it came with some play food and cookware for added value The bad: Whoever decided on the cabinet handle location doesn't understand physics. It's located as if the door should pull down like an oven but the cabinet door swings out. Since the holes are pre-drilled, I can't put the handle in a logical spot. Speaking of the handles, they're a very flimsy plastic. They're both likely to break in no time so I'm already planning on replacing the handle with a cheap metal one from the hardware store. Another weak spot is the "sink". It's very flimsy cardboard on the bottom and the wood pieces shift. My fix for that is going to be a wooden drop in sink that I can make easily out of furniture plywood scraps. If you can find a plastic pan that would fit, it'd work too. The ugly: The instructions are atrocious. Any kid with a drawing app on their tablet could have made better pictures. It may as well not even have any pics because some are impossible to see the details that are necessary to assemble it correctly. You can't rely on scale or hole placement because half the pictures are not even close to accurate drawings of the pieces. The words are basically "Attach piece a to piece b with hardware 1". Sometimes that's fine, but sometimes it matters what direction you place things and you don't figure that out til a few steps later. After having 7 kids, I'm pretty experienced putting stuff together and these instructions were among the worst I've seen. At least it does go together well once you figure it out. This is absolutely not a quick build. I took apart, moved, and reassembled my girls big wooden bunk bed the same day quicker than I put this kitchen together, if that tells you anything.

Very disappointed in Target and FedEx for the delayed shipment of this product.I would probably recommend this product if I could have received it in time.

I bought this for my 3-year-old son and we absolutely loved it. The packaging was very sturdy, and assembly took a bit of time. However, when my son came home from school and saw it, he was so excited and played with it for hours. I definitely recommend it.

That's great! My baby loves playing with this kitchen set. She cooks next to me while I cook, which gives me time to focus on the cooking. It keeps her busy and encourages imaginative play. Definitely worth it.

My three year old son loves to help me cook so I bought him a kitchen of his own. It is perfect for outdoor use. He loves playing in it for hours and having fun and entertainment. All the included accessories are definitely a bonus. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

I never write reviews but this thing is worth every penny. Very well made and extremely cute. I always shop online but this thing is really solid and every detail is perfect. It does take some time to put together though and I recommend crossing off every number on the paper. You really need to pay attention to the details. I had no problems putting it together though and it was very easy. But it's the details that make it so amazing and what makes it so amazing. My two year old has been playing with it non stop since I put it up.

We bought this for our grandson's birthday. It was easy to assemble and the quality is great. He loves it!

Our 3 year old daughter loves this kitchen! Her favorite features are the ice maker, lights, washing machine, lights, and digital sound for the stove. The ice maker is a must. I was overwhelmed by the variety of kitchen gadgets on the market. I needed something that was very compact but had as many fun features as possible. I felt this small enough kitchen gadget was the best choice. The instructions were easy to understand. The only minor downside was that some parts were damaged during shipping. It still works great though. Costway put this box in a larger box, which means it gets bumped around a lot. I'll see if the manufacturer sends replacement parts.

My one year old son loved it!!!

bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter. I wasn't sure if she would like it. My son in law put it together and she saw it and couldn't stop playing with it! She makes at least one good meal a day for all of us. Haha the only problem is that when I wash it it came with the toy food and the toy food needs to be bought separately.

bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it! My 11 year old granddaughter is so smart that she put it together by herself with just a few nuts and bolts from me. It took two hours to put it together and the instructions were easy to follow with visual and voice prompts. The kitchen set is sturdy, well made and just adorable! It is loved not only by my 3 year old granddaughter but also by her brother and cousins. The kitchen set also comes with accessories like knobs with sound effects, dishwasher with swing window, so many cute features! Cute and sturdy, it was also pretty easy to put together and it is great value for money!

forgot to write a review when my hubby first put it together and my 3 year old daughter hadn't started using it yet, haha. So here's what it looks like 3 months later with the extra toys. She loves to fill the sink with water and play that way, but recently we bought kinetic sand and put it in the sink and she loves playing that way. This kitchen is super cute and great quality. All the accessories that come with it are made of wood which is super cute! I'm so glad I finally decided to buy this after weeks of searching. You won't be disappointed, buy it!! Hubby said it wasn't too hard to put together. Definitely worth the money! The burners on the stove light up and make sounds. It requires batteries. The ice maker works which is just a bonus. Overall this is one of the best things we've bought for her to learn and play with.
