After taking the time it took to assemble all of the pieces for this heater the gas never stayed on. There is a defect with the starter within the system and now I don’t know how I’m gonna take apart all this crap to take it back.

Do not purchase

Paid for the item as well as the assembly all thru target.com. Item does not work. It will not stay lit after the initial ignition. Target will not assist in returning the item once it is assembled.

Not impressed

Unit does not work and costway customer service stinks. just purchased this and put it together and it won’t ignite. You can’t call anyone. Target customer service is fantastic but this is a third party vendor. After calling we are told we have to email and all troubleshooting is by email. That was three days ago. Now I have to take apart and take it back. I love the unit but one it won’t work, two no one to help fix it, and three, if something goes wrong again I don’t want to deal with them

Nice looking

This is a mushroom style patio heater. I thought it was nice looking. Seems pretty straightforward to use once assembled. Make sure to carefully read the instructions so that you assemble this correct correctly. You also want to make sure to have some sort of weight at the bottom so that this does not tip over when it's windy out. I would even recommend possibly using something like a bungee cord to connect it to a deck so that it does not blow over. Overall, I thought it was A nice looking mushroom style patio heater. We tend to have a good amount of heat output, so make sure you fully understand how to use it.

Excellent Patio Heater!!

I have put this heater on my back deck and the heat disbursement is amazing. This heater performs very well pushing out the heat. While the top dispersal shield feels somewhat flimsy, it deflects the heat outward from the burner unit like a boss. I wish the color somewhat matched the post, however. I recognize that it may not be possible due to discoloration over time, but it\'s still a wish. Anyway, it warms the area nicely and we are going to get good use out of it during the winter months. I assembled it by myself in about an hour. It\'s not difficult and the directions are outstanding with detailed and labeled pictures. Additionally, the hardware package is great since all the types of screws, nuts, etc. and separated into labeled compartments. Great touch from the manufacturer. I\'m highly impressed.

Warm up

If you're looking to hangout outside in the fall or spring, you might need a patio heater. Might even need one now in August when the weather suddenly stopped to 55° by me! These mushroom style heaters are nice as they can put off a lot of heat for a small space. They are powered by propane so have extra tanks around. This seems straight forward to use on assembled i thought

Good Deck Heater

This was an anniversary gift for our daughter and her husband. They had recently just had their back deck torn down and rebuilt. This was the perfect addition to the new deck. They love this heater.

Unbelievable quality for the price

This product is not just a heat lamp, but is a piece of art and has the added benefit of being very effective. The one drawback is that it is challenging to put together. We wound up needing to hire a handyman who even struggled himself. That said, our lamp suffered some damage during a storm and we were able to secure a replacement glass canister very quickly with little hassle. Customer service is top notch, so the company continued to care even after they close a sale.

Very satisfied

The heater is very sturdy, the materials are of good quality, and it was not difficult to assemble. We've used this heater a couple times and it warms us up nicely and we're very happy with it. I bought it because I wanted something fancy that would look nice and keep me warm at the same time, and I was not disappointed.

LOVE this new addition to our outdoor activities. Putting it together was a little time consuming but done in 35 mins. Easy to follow instructions and heats the area we use it in effectively enough. Indoor golf in our shop and it is a great bonus for the ones who aren't up to hit.

Works Well, Happy with Purchase

We ordered this heater in December for our outdoor patio area, then discovered it was a little too tall for the patio roof, so it was moved by the BBQ. This is helpful because we like to BBQ all year long, especially in the winter months. So far, it seems like a nice sturdy product. Easy to set up and easy to operate.
