Q: Under specifications, the maximum btu output is listed as 40,000. This is impossible, unless the heater was on fire. Every other heater of this size produces around 5000 btus. Will someone correct this info?

Space heater gets too hot

Well we liked this space heater until it could have started a fire. I bought this heater in November and recently the cord started to get hot. I called the company, they told me to call Target. I’ve been calling Target for two days each time being told I would be experiencing a long wait time. Finally I was told by Stephanie there was nothing they could do. The unit could have caught on fire but since it was past a 3 month warranty by days or weeks target snd Costway are saying they are no longer responsible. Really disappointed neither company will stand behind their product. I would not recommend this product or the companies that sell it

A very good product, the whole room is hot for a few minutes. After closing, the room can also maintain a few hours of temperature, and the entire room is warm. It is also very safe, with pulleys on the bottom to safely isolate the ground and prevent the ground from overheating.
