Why is there a light in this mattress???
There is not only a light in this mattress, for some reason, it flashes continuously if the batteries run out. I mean, all night, until you replace the batteries the next morning. I had to block the light with a blanket in a panic because my baby was almost asleep. The flashing is distracting. It's like nightlight strength, except you have more control of a nightlight. If you have a younger baby, and you don't want to put anything between the mattress and crib to be safe, I guess you might be able to cover the light with electrical tape. We have a few sheets on the crib, so that's not enough.

Great idea, horrible design
It's great, if you can change the batteries. The battery compartment is the worst design ever. It is very difficult to remove it to change the batteries, and once the batteries are dead the light will flash until the batteries are removed. When you flip the mattress to the toddler side, the batteries are upside down. This causes them to pop up slightly, and prevents you from being able to pull the battery compartment out. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get it out, and in the process it broke and won't vibrate. I wouldn't buy it again.

This mattress is very nice quality and is comfortable! I have included a picture comparing the thickness of this mattress to our old mattress, which we have used for two babies and love. This Contours mattress is noticeably thicker. I prefer the softer "toddler" size and had a hard time discerning which was which...turns out the tag on the mattress will tell you. My two year old likes the vibrations and asks for it to be turned on as soon as we lay her down. I have noticed that she has been falling asleep faster and with less fuss for nap time, but she has been waking up sooner, and I can't help but wonder if it's because the mattress is still. The remote has a timer setting but the highest is 45 minutes. The vibration setting is your generic vibration you find in many baby devices, which was a little disappointing for the price of this mattress. It radiates from the battery compartment on the side of the mattress. I try to stay away from sleep props but would be very curious to try this on a baby/toddler that wakes during the night. I would absolutely try this mattress with an infant to help soothe during night wakings while sleep training. The remote with a handle is brilliant.

Gentle soothing toddler mattress
My child has used this toddler mattress for three weeks. Very soothing vibrations pits my little one to sleep gently. Definitely an added benefit to our sleeping routine. I did place a mattress cover and two crib size fitted sheets on mattress before using and can still feel the vibrations.

We love this mattress. Thankfully, we've been blessed with a toddler who falls asleep anywhere and everywhere, but he LOVES the vibrations in his bed. The mattress is soft, and I like that we can put the vibrations on a low setting (out of three) rather than just being stuck with one setting. Love that you can hang the remote, because otherwise it'd get lost in the fray. I appreciate the standards set for this mattress--the last thing I want is MORE chemicals. I do worry about how things will go once he outgrows this fancy mattress, but for now, it gives him great rest.

Amazing!
This soothing vibrations crib mattress is absolutely amazing. I wish I would have known about these sooner. It helps my little girl fall asleep quicker and she is less reliant on us being in her room with her and patting her back or holding her hand. I highly recommend this!

Made in the US, waterproof, vibrations!
My little girl looks to take naps all the time now because of this awesome mattress! It is so soothing that I wish I was tiny enough to sleep on it myself!! This was an amazing help with getting her to cooperate better with a nighttime routine in her own bed. We have been back and forth with that struggle until now. I am happy that she enjoys the soothing vibrations of the mattress which help her drift off to sleep. Compared to other mattresses we have tried, this one has the best support, also. Plus, it is waterproof and easy to clean for nighttime accidents if potty training bedtime!

A must-have for littles who love vibration
Where was this when my big guy was little?!? It is such a nice tool to have in our parenting back pocket. As a family that switches to a full crib after just a few months in a bassinet, this crib mattress has been a lifesaver! My boys love vibrations as babies and we know that the crib is the safest place for them. It is so nice to be able to just turn the calming vibrations on with the remote when the baby gets restless when we know he has just been fed and has a clean diaper and just needs that extra calming vibrating sensation to lull back to sleep. I also appreciate the waterproof exterior! Great design and great product all around!

The mattress is a win win. It’s very easy to assemble. Comes with 2 sides which is firm and soft so that when the the baby is ready to be a toddler we can easily switch to softer side. Also comes with 3 vibrations which is highly effective for babies as it gives the feeling of a rockers

My 10 month old doesn’t sleep through the night well, and I thought a new mattress might improve our luck. This one has infant and toddler sides which is great for when baby is ready for a cozier mattress. We tried both and stuck with the toddler side for him! I love that it’s just a simple flip of the mattress to adjust the firmness. It has 3 different vibration settings and a remote to activate it. He doesn’t like the vibration option after all unfortunately, but the mattress is noticeably more comfortable! Some of my favorite features about this mattress is that it’s made in the USA and it has a waterproof surface! It’s green guard certified and fit my standard crib perfectly.

Seems like a pretty high end baby mattress compared to our current one. Has a nice soft exterior texture but lacks a waterproofing aspect. Needs aired out from the shipping bag (but it’s reusable which is nice) and I wasn’t prepared with the right size batteries before writing this review to actually feel what the vibrations are like, but if you baby likes vibration and has trouble sleeping this is probably right for you. The remote is absolutely necessary. Current baby already sleeps through the night but we are expecting again and will use this should we have a troubled sleeper. Nice that it’s certified safe plus all the green aspects.

More sleep for parents
My only wish is this came for adults. We replaced our older mattress with this one last night. My daughter was teething and we were having a hard time getting her to sleep and sleep through the night. We choose the middle soothing vibration mode which fit her stage. And set for 45 minutes the first night (15 and 30 minutes is also available). Ah, quiet as she fell asleep faster. She did wake up in the middle of the night, but the remote allowed us to stand at the doorway and set for another 45 minutes and she was back asleep fast. This is a godsend. If your child loves vibration, you will get more sleep. The mattress is the perfect firmness for an infant/toddler. Yet still has a little softness, but not unsafe. I love the green benefits of this product. Greenguard certified and CPSIA tested for lead and phalates. I thought we would move her from crib to twin, but we might get a toddler bed to still be able to use this mattress.
