Headphones broke out of the package
We're coming from the bottom of the line Amazon Fire tablet so I expect this tablet to be similar. I like the fact that with the Contixo I have a little more control as a parent right out of the box. The Fire tablet set up may have been a bit easier / more user friendly, but I also couldn't target specific apps to add or block on my kiddo's tablet and I *had* to have an Amazon Kids subscription (which is okay but not great). The Contixo tablet is smaller than the Amazon Fire, but it seems to offer a little more freedom with regard to what can be installed, blocked, or removed. That said, I've not had it long enough to give a full review. I like Google products and use android OS so I don't expect issues with the OS or interface. As far as the longevity of the tablet, my expectation would be that it last as long as our Fire tablet (which is going on year 4 now). The headphones are another beast altogether. I have a kiddo with sensory issues and sometimes over-the-ear headphones bother her. I liked the idea of the headband because it is soft, the speakers are fairly flat, and we can adjust them back and forth for a better fit. Unfortunately, the cord is so insubstantial that there's no way those wires won't break. If the headphones hadn't been broken right out of the box, I'm sure they would've succumbed within a couple of weeks to even light use from my 7 year old. Additionally, the volume button wouldn't let us step up the volume incrementally. One click wouldn't change the volume at all. Two clicks either raised it to the maximum or absolute minimum volume. Not well made. I would just avoid the headband headphones all together. As for customer service, initially Contixo was very responsive, but by the fourth or fifth email when they were asking for video proof that the headphones didn't work, it didn't become worth my time and effort to pursue the matter. This is a situation in which customer service can make or break a product. Had they sent a replacement headphone insert, they would have recieved 5 stars all around, even though the quality of the headphones is subpar. Instead, I'm opting to return the entire bundle and buy something with a better track record and I know will work out of the box.

Perfect size for my baby
Perfect size for my 8 month old, has an adult section that children can’t access without authorization. you’re able to control what they can and can not access, download, and view. Nothing can be done without authorization of an adult. Has tons of teacher approved games. You’re able to lock certain apps so that the child can not leave that activity. That is to be expected.

Great tablet for my 5yo
Just received the tablet and so far we like it. Of course, my 5yo can't get enough of it as it is his first tablet. I like that it comes with a case and you can download all the apps I needed. Very user friendly and there are a lot of parent control options.but my 5yo doesn't seem to mind. Overall, we are happy with the purchase!
