Ripped my hair out!
AVOID this product if you have hair that is past your shoulders! I have long hair and this hairdryer repeatedly sucked my hair into the back of it as I was drying it and pulled it out it does not have enough protection on the backside/intake of the hairdryer to prevent this like the old Conair hairdryers did. Very lightweight. Feels cheap.

My 16 year old needed a new hair diffuser and picked this one out for its reputable brand and competitive price. Unfortunately, we had to return it within days as the quality did not meet our expectations at all. The diffuser head is way too small to be functional. The blow dryer itself felt very lightweight and cheap. Settings did not allow for enough variability to serve basic styling needs. Still much love and respect to Conair as a brand, but this particular product is just way too basic to be able to style with. It might be OK for just strictly drying hair, nothing else.

Hair gets sucked into the back
There's no guard on the back so if you have long hair, it will get sucked in. It hurts a lot. Left my hair pretty frizzy after. I've used it twice. I wanted to try the diffuser but I couldn't because my hair kept getting caught in the fan. You get what you pay for.

Died after only 5 months
I've only had this hair dryer for 5 months and it died already. I have a very short pixie cut so don't run the hair dryer for long periods of time. This is the 3rd one I've owned. The first one lasted several years. The 2nd one only about a year but I figured I probably got a dud until this one died. I love the retractable cord but it's not worth having to buy a new hair dryer every few months.
