Conair Lumilisse Hair Removal Device with Intense Pulsed Light Technology

I bought this last year in December as an early Christmas gift to myself. I used it every two weeks from December to April and saw it thin out my chin hairs a little bit. But I was using it on 2. I stopped when it got warm because I knew I'd be hanging around the pool and out in the sun getting tan. I started back at the beginning of August using it weekly on 4. I am definitely seeing result now. I'm so happy. I'm sure if I keep this up by the new year it will be gone. I wish I had just kept it up during the summer and it would probably be all gone by now. You can see in the picture how much it's thinned out since the beginning. My pcos causes me to have a full man beard. I've spent years shaving, waxing and tweezing. My chin hair has always made me so self conscious. I'm beyond happy with my sesults so far. I can't wait u til its gone for good.

This device is FDA-cleared, which made me comfortable in using it on my body, and it's very simple to use. The important thing is to consistently use it if you want to get results. I've been testing it on my legs for a few weeks now and I'm definitely starting to see results as hair isn't growing back, and my legs are smoother. I'm still amazed this is possible, and I can't wait to test it on other areas I'd like to get rid of hair, like under my armpits. This would make a great gift!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's still a bit early to tell just how long the results are going to last or how much hair is going to stay away when I've completed the treatments, but I'm three treatments in and have noticed a significant reduction in the amount of hair on my legs. It is a bit tricky trying to make sure you "hit every spot" without overlapping but it'll come with practice. It was quick and absolutely painless --- except..... DO READ THE DIRECTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM CLOSELY! I absolutely can't stand the hair on my feet and - I thought I'd be slick and try to zap "around" my tattoo.... No. Don't do it. Ouch. I got a little close to the black lines of my tattoo and OUCH. It kinda burned a bit. Ok...It burned a lot. I instantly regretted that decision. Trust me, folks... Do NOT zap over tattoos or dark skin. I promise that won't be a pleasant experience.

I did close my eyes each time I pressed the trigger because it emits bright light- it was like when you close your eyes when the sun is shining in them. It's so nice to do it on my own schedule and not have to worry about appointments for other types of hair removal. I've only had the chance to use it twice, so I haven't seen any noticable results yet. It is sometimes hard to get it to work on certain parts of my legs, like shins and knees because the head has to be in good contact with the skin. Overall, I'm happy with it and hopeful about the results as I continue to use it.

But just after 2 uses I'm already seeing a difference in hair growth and I will continue to use it. It is easy to use and the instructions are right on the box. The product came with everything I needed to start using it right away. The product was lightweight and easy to use. I had never owned a hair removal device like this before. It has clear instructions that detail how to use the product. It has 2 attachments, one to use on the body and one to use for sensitive areas. It also has a skin tone indicator. I like that it is lightweight and easy to use. I would say the only con of this product is that you have to shave and do several treatments before you can start doing it every month or so to help with results. Overall, the first treatment went good with no problems.

I felt the device was a little user unfriendly at first, but once you got ahold of how to use and the repetition of it, it was fairly easy to use. The process was not as painful as I thought it might be just a little warming sensation when pulling the trigger. I'm a little ashamed to admit this but I used this device on my chest. As a woman with PCOS, unwanted body hair appears in the most embracing places. I haven't gotten to use the device for the recommended time, however, I have notice less hair regrow than, and what is growing back is growing in thinner. I am happy with the results, and will continue to use this device to see how much better my results become over time.

I experienced no pain using it, just a slightly warm feeling. It does take some time to go over the area you are trying to remove hair from, which can get a bit monotonous. But I just broke up the sessions to make it simpler. As of right now, I don't see much, if any, changes but it's still early on the process and I am going to keep at it. As long as I see results, I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as it beats shaving it waxing!

I've done about 4 treatments now on my underarms and I already see a huge difference. Not only is less hair growing back, but now I no longer have pesky bumps from shaving. It's absolutely pain and mess free! I will happily ditch the razor and the wax for this lovey product.

I didn't notice a reduction in hair over the month. I did a smaller part of my leg so that I knew where to go with it every time. I have had laser hair removal in a clinic on another part of my body and saw results fairly quickly. I will continue to test it and see if over a longer period of time I have better results. Just due reference I am fairly pale and have naturally blonde hair.

I constantly had to keep rescanning my skin and was never able to get very much done. I tried the glide option it recommended and could never get that option to work. It was such a frustrating experience. Unfortunately I will still have to pay for laser hair removal because this option did not work for me sadly.

Maybe that was just false expectations so I can't necessarily fault it on the product itself. It for me was painless and pretty easy to use if you followed the directions. I can't say I noticed much of a difference, however I did not use it for a prolonged period of time and I have read that results get better/more permanent after repeated prolong use. I did notice a slight difference in hair growth, what seemed to be a couple less chin hairs. So I would assume with repeated use this will give me the desired results.

Which I read all the way through considering I have a tan complexion and have dark hair. After shaving per instructions I used the ipl and. There is a slight. Tingling nothing to crazy. It's actually very quick and easy to use and didn't cause me any pain. The only bad thing about this device is that it gets difficult to use on yourself, at least on certain parts of my body. When I try to use it on the backs of my legs i find it hard to press the trigger down completely or see if the green light is blinking. I wish the laser section was wider as well.

It is a handheld laser device that works only when in direct contact with your skin to remove unwanted hair from the body. It is a fair sized device, just the right size to handle. There are several different settings depending on the tone of your skin, to set for the correct hair removal laser. The IPL begins to work once it's pressed onto the part of your body, which I thought was great as to avoid possible eye exposure to the high intensity light. I had decided to use it on my armpit hair. It took about ten- fifteen minutes to do each arm carefully. It probably goes faster after you get the hang of it. So far after a few weeks I have noticed the hair is a little finer when glancing in the mirror. I plan on using this on my upper lip, continued use on my armpit, and to try on my bikini and legs. This device compared to salon laser treaments is very well priced. On average, laser is more expensive and you need several sessions to really start the hair removal process. I would buy this product again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Hair growth is slower and thinner than before! It's great for me, because with PCOS, I deal with faster than normal hair growth! It's important to read the booklet that comes with it, as you do have to follow the instructions closely. All in all, I will continue to use this and would recommend it to others!

I like how this hair removal is designed compared to others I have tried, and it is was less bulky. It's very easy to hold in hand and the treatment process is very quick. I am quite tan from summer but I was still able to use this on my legs by using the indicator to determine how strong the light should be. When using this device you do need to press firmly onto the skin before pulling the trigger, as it is very sensitive. This is a great product and very user friendly! If you've been looking to remove unwanted hair this is the perfect option. It's too soon to tell if it's working but with continued use I'm sure the results will be great. It is definitely worth trying and way cheaper than the salon.
