Q: How does the dual voltage feature work? I don't see anything to change voltage on the curling iron

A: The internal function seems to have worked for 4 days in Peru but on the fifth day, the curling iron sparked and the electricity went out in my hotel room. I do NOT recommend this curling iron.

Q: How in the heck am I supposed to curl my hair when there is no handle to hold the hair in place while I'm curling it

A: Hi Jessielove 1982! If you push the white lever down the clasp will pop up so you can place your hair, and it will hold your hair in place while you are curing it. Hope this helps!

The earlier, and MUCH better, model had a longer tip with an actual hole in it, so one was able to actually hold the tip without burning your fingers. Today's products are cheaply made - just awful. Guess Conair wanted to save money.

Curlers No Good
This curling iron just doesn't work for me. It does not hold my hair in the curling iron. My hair constantly slips out. Constantly accidentally turn the curling iron off by unknowingly touching the off button.

Poor design
Pros: Heats up well and give me good curls Cons and why I'd buy another model next time: Poor design. The power button and green light button are designed for you press down. While curling my hair, everytime, I press those buttons. And turn off the power. They are in the way. My next curling iron will have sliding buttons or have them located somewhere else. Probably designed by someone who doesn't use a curling iron.

Poor design
Bad design. The power button and the dial to turn up the heat are right on the part of the handle that you hold, so every time I wrapped my hair around it I turned it off. Also, my hair typically curls super easily and holds the curl well, not with this iron. Probably because it didn’t stay hot enough getting turned off constantly while in use.
