    Walkie is great, registration process is RIDICULOUS

    If I would have known that I would have had to disassemble 36 walkies to find the serial number in order to register each walkie that I purchased, I would have NEVER purchased these. The amount of time it took me to take 36 walkies apart, get the number and then reassemble them was ridiculous. These serial numbers should have been supplied to me on the packing slip.

    Description

    Radios came packed pretty well, put on charger and started reading the directions, the description on website did not say how far they would reach, once in hand it said 25 stories or 300,000ft this model was clearly not going to work for what I want to do. Cobra needs to do a better job on web site of how far approximately the radios will reach.

    I think the radios are work wonderfully. The radios have performed as advertised. Strong signal in the building and clear voice messages. The entire team like the earpieces. Range seems very good we have tested out to another building in the complex.

    Adequate for now

    To date, these units have performed as we have needed them to in battery life (gets us through a 10 hr. work day), and range (approximately 150 yards through multiple block walls). The only improvement we wish they would consider adding/changing on the units are the need for a more durable and pivoting beltclip; we've broken several of them in just everyday use. Also, the need for a flexible antena; one that doesn't easily break off whenever the radio falls from the belt clip not pivoting. But overall, we areable to complete the needed communications throughout our workday, which we couldn't do before finding these units.

    Good product,,but very slow shipping

    We were looking for a set of radios to communicate over our campus. These radios covered the entire property well. The only problem was the shipping process. It took a long time to complete order, was delayed in the actual shipping as well. But they did arrive and are a great product.

    seem to be good as far as reception overall. not quite as rugged as would like them to be for use in manufacturing environments. Antenna cover came off on one unit and mike stopped working on another unit. Have had for 1 month.

    I loved these radios when I got them. But there is a lot of issues. 1. They do not go as far as advertised. Not even 2 miles. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! The CEO needs to come and see that.what they advertise vs what actually happens is not true. 2. They break easy. The antennas came apart and broke. I had 3 radios stop working. Very Very disappointed in my purchase. I hope someone reads this and reaches out to make this right. Best of luck!

    We have been using them

    We have been using them for a while now we actually have 8 radios and they work great. Would like to have been able to get a large base to set them all on instead of the 2 bay devices that come with them, but they are great radios.
