Pores look like craters
Not truly moisturizing. Created an uncomfortably taut film on my face, which accentuated my pores. After applying this cream, my skin felt much, much drier than before, and that is saying something because I have oily skin. I don't want to eliminate all oil; I want to reduce and prevent overproduction. I want to MOISTURIZE my skin, not deprive it. Disappointing. I will stick to the cream I already have in my regimen. Will not be purchasing this again.

This product is amazing! This moisturizer is so lightweight on my face that it feels like applying nothing. It gets absorbed into my skin so quickly and locks in all that moisture. It has minimized my breakouts as none of the ingredients or thickness of the products is clogging up my pores. It leaves a refreshing feel after application and leaves no strong or pungent odors behind. I have bought this product multiple times and would keep purchasing the product!

I really love this moisturizer! It’s super lightweight and absorbs quickly, so my face never feels greasy. I haven’t had any breakouts while using it, which is a huge plus. It also layers really well with my other serums and doesn’t pill at all. Highly recommend it!

Great product horrible packaging
I love this! Gel moisturizers absorb into my skin better and this one is perfect. Please don’t ever change it! It leaves my skin so soft, not oily, and is a great primer. The only reason for 4 stars is the packaging. It is very hard to get the product out when it starts getting low and if it isn’t kept standing up sometimes I can’t get the product to come out at all. Please please put this in better packaging. A squeeze tube or container with a lid would be better.

Contains ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide - moisturizes and strengthens the skin barrier well. Packaging with a dispenser is convenient and hygienic. The downside is that it can be a little weak for dry skin, especially in winter.

I received a sample of this ultra-lightweight moisturizing gel and was quite impressed with its texture. I decided to invest in the full-size product. It is very light and dries quickly after application, though it still leaves a bit of a sticky feeling to the skin. However, the pump has been another story. After about two days of using the product, I began to have trouble getting it to pump out, despite storing it correctly. I kept pressing the pump, but no product came out. Frustrated, I started shaking the bottle to help the product settle at the bottom (the opposite direction of the pump), hoping the tube inside would catch the moisturizer for distribution. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. I even tried shaking it in the other direction, but only a small amount came out. After struggling for a while, the bottle finally gave in and spat out the moisturizer. I certainly didn't expect to get a good arm workout in the morning!

This is my second bottle of the CeraVe Ultralight Gel Moisturizer, and I honestly love how lightweight and hydrating it is. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel greasy, and works great under sunscreen or makeup. Perfect for my combination skin—hydrated without the heaviness. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I really wish it came in a larger size. I go through it pretty fast, and a bigger bottle would be more convenient and better value. Still, it’s a staple in my routine and I’ll definitely keep repurchasing.
