Drying for normal skin but amazing for acne prone skin. Not super thick so it doesn’t encourage oil production. The pump has never failed and a little bit of product goes a long way.

Good for sensitive skin!
I’ve been using this product for nearly 4 years in my skincare routine. I have extremely sensitive skin and in those 4 years I have never had an issue with this lotion irritating my skin. My skin looks and feels so much better now.

An Excellent Moisturizer
This is my favorite PM moisturizer. I really dislike having heavy creams/makeup on my skin, so I used to avoid moisturizing my face because of how uncomfortable it was. After over 2 years of using this product, I can confidently say this moisturizer has saved me! It is pleasantly lightweight and really hydrates my skin. I apply when my skin is the driest, which is right after a shower for me, every night. My face feels smooth and healthy. I also wanted to note that I felt a bottle lasts very long and is worth the price. I find that it doesn’t have a strong smell and is very tolerable to wear.

Great product
I'm in my 40s with dryish skin, and I use this during the day. It's at least as good as other more expensive products. I use it with other Cerave skincare, and unlike some of their other facial care products, I have no issues with pilling. This one is a winner. I use it with the vitamin C serum, and even during the winter, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry as the day wears on. Please don't change the formulation!

Caused break outs
I dislike raining on a parade when everyone is raving about this however I bought this looking for a moisturizer that would not cause acne. I have oil acne prone skin however my skin has been fairly clear recently & I started using this moisturizer ...I nervously started with 1 day on 1 day off for 3 days, day 1 I woke up with really dry skin around my mouth & by day 4 I had 4 large size zits on various places on one side of my face (not in typical cause by hormone locations). I am disappointed. That being said the texture of the cream does seem light & abit dewy & left my skin feeling soft.

Works really well
I appreciate how well thought out this lotion was in terms of its price point & lightweight fragrance-free formula. I’ve struggled waking up with a sticky greasy face with regular facial lotions and moisturizers, but this lotion has an almost gel-like consistency that doesn’t lead to me having a shiny forehead. Use liberally to get the most moisturizing action!

Clogged pores
I wanted to like this because I use the A.M. CeraVe moisturizer all the time, but every time of the 5 times I used it, I have had a pimple by morning, and I don’t get those all that often, so I attribute that to the moisturizer, given it feels fairly thick when I put it on. Makes me not want to wear it of course.

Not good for oily, acne prone skin
My oily skin can’t stand this moisturizer. I like the daily moisturizing lotion, but this one caused my face to burn and feel dry, but also be super oily after using it for a couple weeks. My makeup also didn’t sit well with this moisturizer as I think it sat on top of my skin rather than absorbing into my skin. I have a lot of closed comedones and blackheads all over my jaw and forehead after using this, too. It seems to work great for some people, and it has a nice texture, but if you have oily acne prone skin or sensitive skin, it’s not the best choice.

I have been using this product for many years now and I have zero complaints!! It has no scent (which my sensitive skin loves) and it is very lightweight!
