This product left a white cast and it flaked off in little bits all over my face within minutes of putting it on. So disappointing for how expensive it is and I typically like CeraVe products. I will be returning this.

Love it
This was recommended my my dermatologist and I love it for the spring and summer. It’s affordable and does a great job of keeping me moisturized. I have combination skin on the dryer side, so this is not a great moisturizer for the winter. My only complaint is that it does burn my eyes, most likely due to the SPF.

Leaves skin feeling hydrated and makes it glow!
I’ve been using this sunscreen in my skincare routine for nearly 4 years. I have extremely sensitive skin and it’s never given me any issues!! It leaves my skin feeling hydrating and glowing without it feeling greasy or oily. My only complaint is it will occasionally ball up.

It's time for me to give up on Cerave products for my face. They sting and burn - from the gentle cleanser to the 30 and 50 sunscreens, to the cream. I wanted to love them because they're affordable, fragrance-free, and have less ingredients than most to irritate me. I'm going back to what I always end up going back to. Bye, Cerave. P.S. 67 years young. Incredibly clear skin. Super, super sensitive/dry skin.

Doctors office hooked
I started using this outstanding product years ago . I had been working in dermatology for a long time and had tried every product on the market. The day the rep came in with samples, we were like ok thanks. We listened to the information and took samples home to try . Well in a a few weeks we were all hooked. It also became the number one product our doctors recommended. It is so light for such a great moisturizer with adequate sun protection. Goes wonderfully under make! And I can not stress enough how important everyday spf coverage is, to not only to slow the aging of your skin but prevent skin cancer . I can not recommend this product enough. Oh also it is great for babies to seniors!

This needs to be used on clean skin with no other skin care underneath. It pills really bad, to where I had to wipe the pilling off with a towel. I gave it to my fiancé to use as he only uses sunscreen in the morning and it’s worked well for him with no pilling.

Not as good as most Cerave products
I used a lot of CeraVe products and I liked all of them until this one. Their PM lotion is my favorite so I thought the AM lotion should be as good. But I was wrong. It leaves messy white cast on your face and hard to smooth out. Very disspointed.

I have been using this for 2 years now. I have combination skin and wear it every morning. I wash it off in the evening and have not had any breakouts. It is mosturizing, but not too much and it dries pretty clear. It can leave a bit of a white cast but I do have fair skin so you can't see it.

Flaking off
I came here to see if others are noticing the white flakes on face after applying & before applying any make-up. I grabbed some samples of the SPF 50 @ dermatologist last week & am not noticing that it does like the 30 does. I definitely don’t want to buy anymore of the 30. I have to really check my face before leaving for work in the morning before going to work (brushing off the white flakes & then brushing it off my shirt as well). I do notice it makes my face look a little paler after applying moisturizer as well.

I don't recommend it.
I used this CeraVe SPF 30 sunscreen with and without the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. Unfortunately, it didn’t work well for me. It leaves a noticeable white cast and peels easily after application. It also doesn’t seem to fully absorb into the skin like the CeraVe SPF 50, which I prefer. The only positive is that it makes my skin feel less greasy than the SPF 50 version. Overall, it’s not bad, but the peeling and texture issues make it difficult to use under makeup or as a daily sunscreen. (Photos are unfiltered to show real results.)
