Waterproof blanket for bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not have purchased this if it wasn’t for this program. I immediately noticed that this material is not soft. Both sides are just plain fabric, usually water proof blankets have at least one side with fluffy material on it. It feels more like a tarp. I would not put this on my bed because it would be so incomfortable to sit or lay on. It also has a weird smell to it that’s hard to describe. It’s kind of a chemical smell. Unsure if it will go away once it’s washed. I received an incentive to write this review.

I didn't realize what this was. I just wanted something to protect my sofa from my animal companion. It works great. I don't know how it would work for its intended purpose, but I imagine it would be just as effective. My dog seems to think it's comfortable.
