Carlson Extra Wide Walk-Thru Gate with Small Pet Door - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was really excited to receive this considering it said it was extra wide and one of the dogs that we have is of bigger size. My hallways that I fit it in is actually really narrow so the gate is smaller than my hall which is concerning. It does state that there will be a gap when you first install it though which I don’t understand why.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This extra wide pet gate is a game changer. Makes such a difference when I want to clean my home. I simply put my fur baby on the opposite side of the gate. And cleaning is a breeze without having my pup running all over the wet floor. The gate is very sturdy and very we'll made. Very easy to open and close the door for when you want to go to the other side. And it's also very easy for my dog to go through the pet door as well. I would recommend to buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate from Carlson is freaking awesome. We have a 170lb Great Dane and a 10lb cat. Sometimes, we need to keep the dog in a separate room and let the cat do as she pleases. This is wonderful for that! We can shut both portions of the gate if we want. Our cat is tripod as of 2 months ago, so she isn't trying to hop the gate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is awesome. I absolutely love it. It was packaged real well. There is some assembly to it but it is not hard. The gate is made of great metal and is built to last. I love how you do not have to take it down all the time and can leave it up permanently. I love the door and the little door down at the bottom for little animals to get through. I also love how tall it is so my dog does not try to jump it. I also love how secure it is and how my dog is not able to push it down. Overall this is a really awesome dog gate and I love it.

The door seems very secure and the width is nice that it is larger. Seems durable too. Will definitely be adding wall protection cups for the walls, but excited to use it.

She has a big dog and when I work from home at her place it’s impossible to get work done with her dog going in and out of everywhere. I was able to have my own work station uninterrupted. The gate was really easy to install with simple instructions. It got the job done. It felt sturdy and hasn’t fallen down. I like that it adjusts to the width of the space.

It's easy to adjust and maintain and is the perfect height to keep our dog in her area. The only downside is that it seems to come loose unless we have it so tight that it's harder to open and close.

I thought the convenience of keeping it up all the time would be very beneficial. However, I had a hard time getting this gate in between my doorway. The assembly was very easy. I was able to assemble it by myself. It’s just trying to get it between the doorway to actually use. It was such a pain. I don’t think I will use this in the future. I prefer something a little bit more simpler.

I used the Carlson Gate as a “doggie door” to control my pet from going in and out of my office. The Carlson Gate is a swing gate that attaches easily to your door frame by using expansion screws with soft tips, preventing damage to your frame. The Carson Gate arrived with an expansion frame to accommodate wide door frames. It was very easy to assemble with high-quality metal components. The swing door has a button and a slider that function when engaged. The functionality and aesthetics of the gate are outstanding. The gate is holding up very well and is securely fastened to the door frame. During the day, it’s great having the option to allow easy access when I’m occupying my office. I really like the functionality where I can easily remove and reattach the gate if needed.. I give the Carlson Pet Gate a 5-STAR Rating.

I am probably the least handy person on the planet and make my boyfriend set up everything, but this product was simple enough for me to set up alone. It seems quite durable. There are caps that you can screw into the wall to keep the gate even more secure. The actual locking mechanism/handle is a bit wonky to close, but I feel like most gates are like that. I like the tiny gate option for my cat to come and go as she pleases. It’s perfect! Thank you for the opportunity to try this.

The large dog isn't allowed downstairs because he's older and has issues with stairs. The two doxies, however, fit through perfectly! The gate was easy to put together and install. It also seems quite sturdy with not-cheap-feeling components. I also love the human door with the child-proof latch. I have no complaints!
