    Very good

    I got the unflavored because I was afraid the flavored might upset my GERD. I was expecting the worst based on reviews of the taste, but it's actually very mild, and goes away after a few minutes, even without rinsing. You'd have to really hate fish to find this too strong. Anyway, I am definitely buying this again after I run out!

    High temperature delivery

    My dislike was delivery as the temperature has been 106 Fahrenheit to 108 took out of packaging and it was 90. Don't know if product is still good or if it should be tossed out.

    I find Carlson Labs makes the finest quality fish oils. Never had an after taste. Provide the needed omega-3 oils and with the cod liver oil vitamins A and D as well as some E. Been using it for almost 20 years for heart, brain and bone health.

    The lemon flavor has no fishy taste with no after taste or smell. It helps me with arthritis as recommended by my Dr. My husband and I have been taking it for years, and the quality is always great, and it works for us.

    Seriously? Well, I'm 78 and taking it because I'm critically low on vitamin D, and I have severe toxic reactions to oral D supplements in any form. This Cod Liver Oil is an experiment and so far I have not had any serious reactions....aside from gagging at the taste... LOL I'll let you know if it raises my vitamin D level (currently at 16 )

    Cod Liver Oil for Osteoarthritis

    This is TRUELY the Cod Liver Oil you hated as a child. This is some wicked, wicked stuff. I take a tsp am and pm with a beer chaser. That would be an OJ chaser for those under 21. JUUUUUst kidding; I take it straight up and swallow quickly. I bought this to get a better source of fish oil. I believe I've done that. I also bought this for for my osteoarthritis. After a month, it has NOT helped at all. You judge for yourself.

    Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil is great for my eyes and Joints. My immune system and my bones and heart. Who could ask for more. Good quality. I get the plain so my cat can have some too. Otherwise I would get the natural lemon added.

    I have been taking Cod Liver oil with vitamin B complex since October 1983. Because of pain in my hands my doctor thought I getting arthritis. I didn't notice any effects for three months. However, after that I have not had pain except when I discontinue the combination. I can go without the B complex for a while but not the cod liver oil. A teaspoon followed by some milk to cut the taste every other day. Carlson's Norwegian Cod Liver Oil is the best I have had. I definitely recommend it.

    Well I don't know for sure but when I was Not taking cod liver oil, I used to get leg cramps at night. When I started taking it my leg cramps stopped, when I would run out of the cod liver oil my cramps would come back. Was it the Carlson? Or would any brand work? I don't know so I just keep taking Carlson.
