Description
The RF70-200mm F4 L IS USM is a telephoto zoom lens delivering impressive image quality, along with superb mobility as our shortest and lightest 70-200mm f/4 lens to date. Designed for the EOS R System, this lens takes advantage of the large diameter mount and short back focus distance of the RF mount to be more compact and portable so you�ll be even more inclined to take it with you. Results are stunning thanks to 4 UD lenses to help correct chromatic aberration and keep colors vivid, reduced ghosting thanks to AirSphere Coating (ASC), and Optical Image Stabilization and coordinated OIS and In-Body Image Stabilization for amazingly clear, crisp images and video. It�s also fast, focused and quiet, with dual Nano USMs contributing to a short minimum focusing distance and high-speed autofocus for still shooting and near-silent, smooth autofocus during movie shooting. I took my NEW RF70-200 f4 to the 2025 Rolex 24 Hour Sport Car Races at Daytona Florida last month , I was VERY . . VERY HAPPY with this Great Little Lens on my Canon R6 mk 2 . . This lens is Very Fast to Focus and Very Accurate to Focus . . Great Color and Contrast . . Clean and Crisp Images . . Attached Images are All JPEG . . if you do not need the more expensive f2.8 version . . You will be Very Satisfied with this Budget Friendly Lens . .

Light Weight and Amazing Image Quality
Image quality is amazing, very smooth, and lighter weight than expected!!! I love the focal range, and the ease of use! It also has a lock that is nice so you don’t accidentally have it retract out unexpectantly!

Fabulous light weight L lens
I have had this lens for 6 months - and it is wonderful Especially because of its weight. It produces superbly sharp pictures - which I have come to expect of L lenses.

Wish they had this lens in a 24-240mm range!
Light! Super Sharp. Fast. However, I will be returning it. My main purpose for a zoom lens is for traveling and hiking. Unfortunately, the 70mm is not the most convenient in tight spaces or nature trails. When I travel I just take with me one prime lens and one zoom lens. I really wish they had this starting at 24mm or even 35mm! The fact the is dust and weather resistant a beast like this should be available starting with at least 24mm as in my opinion would be the ultimate travel lens. Canon I can’t be the only person out there with this wish!

FAVORITE PEOPLE AND STREET LENS
I love the compact size and light weight. Zoom action is buttery smooth. Image quality is superb. It's my favorite new lens for people and street photography on the R6 body.

Great sharp lens
This lens is quite light, well-balanced, and a joy to use. Pictures are worth more than words: this shot of a red-bellied woodpecker on my backyard feeder was taken handheld with an EOS R5, f4.5, ISO 500, and 1/1000, through a glass slider. Enough said.

Sharp and Clean Files
The combination of the R6 and this lens is one of the best I have owned. The pictures are sharp and clean without being crispy. And they are sharp from corner to corner.

Amazing, simply amazing lens
Just got my lens today and went out and shot bunch of different subjects on my R5 and all All I can say is Amazing lens! Canon really out did themselves with this one. I thought my RF 24-105 f/4L and RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L were great, which they are. But this lens is one sharpest lenses I have ever used in my 20 years of photography. Center, sides, corners are so Good! So small and light which is also excellent, fits in camera bag so much easier. The only Con I can say is that the IS isn't nearly as good as what I thought it would be. I can only get about 4 stops of consistent sharp images out of it the IS, where I can get 5-7 stops with my other lenses. Not sure why since it rated to do better than that.
