Canon RF 24-105 F4 is
I have owned the ef version for over 15 years. This one about one year. It has preformed flawlessly for me. Focus is fast and accurate. Color and sharpness are very good. The build is solid. I like the compact size.

Lens broke at mount within a year of purchase
I bought this less than a year ago and loved the weight/size for travel. I switch lenses with my camera and it comes apart at the lens mount when taking it off. I don't think I've ever had an issue with something like this with a Canon L series lens this soon after purchase. I had to have lenses repaired previously, but only if I'd done something stupid.

Excellent glass BUT...
It is a wonderful lens... BUT... I'd like to see it @ F/2.0 or 2.8, it'd be a unique asset without a doubt.

Not really worth it. It’s a L glass but it’s for beginners. If you want it for traveling, forget it.
