Love it
Love the flavor it’s a great flavor. Side of the texture is gray in the favorite profile is also amazing if you get it and try it, you would not regret it. It’s like a Louisiana gumbo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be honest, I was expecting a little more from Campbell’s Chunky Soup - Spicy Gumbo. Now, to be fair I live in Southeast Louisiana, so gumbo is a staple of my diet. The quality is good, not great. The flavor is good, not great. The spicy-ness is good not great. I would recommend only if you a looking for a quick lunch or dinner and making homemade gumbo. It is good not great. There was plenty of chicken and sausage which was nice. The spice was mild, and governs the name “spicy” I was hoping for more. It will fill you up but it won’t wow you. Not bad Cambell’s but was just hoping for more flavor and spice I guess.

Campell's Delivers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never delved into the Chunky soup products from Campbell's, mostly because I'm not a big soup eater, but I love spicy gumbo. When I saw Campbell's come out with spicy gumbo, I figured I'd try it. Wow, I wouldn't even call Chunky Soup, soup. It's a meal. More like Dinner in a couple of table spoons of broth. I'm a big Chunky Soup fan now.

I just had to add a few added crackers, it cut the heat and made an amazing meal. Plenty of meat inside with both chicken and sausage in the mix.

It has just the right amount of spice and was a hearty, chunky soup as the name implies. One can filled me up and left me wanting to purchase more for later. Great job Campbells!

Good gumbo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Campbells other chunky soups, so I thought I’d try this one. Not bad. It’s pretty spicy, but I like something with a kick. And it’s got real andouille sausage in it, for that authentic flavor. I think it’s a good, affordable meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soup was not bad. Lots of chicken pieces and sausage pieces. Lots of flavor and some rice and a few veggies. Good spicy taste. Very filling. Nothing like a warm soup on a cold day. Love the easy pull tab on the can. The only downside was it was a little too salty for me. Recommended but watch if you are watching your sodium.

The flavor is pretty good, but it needs more rice, vegetables, and meat. If they made this soup more thick with more ingredients included it would be really good, especially if you like spicy food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Spicy chicken and sausage gumbo soup tastes pretty good. Generous amounts of meat are included. The calorie count actually isn't terrible at only 320 for the entire can. What I have a hard time overlooking though is the amount of sodium. 1850mg if you eat the entire can. That's a whopping 80% of your recommended intake for the day. I enjoyed the soup until I saw the nutrition label.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often go to parks and play ham radio. It is often cold and I pack a lunch. I brought the Campbell's Chicken and Sausage Gumbo with me on one of my last outings. It was 39f and I was craving something warm. I heated up the soup with my portable stove and had the soup for lunch. It warmed me right up. I am not one to eat very spicy things. So I was hesitant in trying this. But I can tell you , this was not flaming spicy. It was just right. Very good taste. It got me warm quick. The easy open lid made it so I didn't need my can opener. There was plenty of soup that filled me up. I will picking up more of this to bring with me to the parks on cold days.

On the other hand, my wife and I were quite surprised at how little chicken and sausage there was in the soup, though there was plenty of rice. Also, the can said it was two servings, but had to add more rice to make it an adequate lunch dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soup is absolutely delicious and definitely does eat like a meal. I love that it is high in protein and has a TON of real chicken and sausage. As a man, it is delicious. I love anything spicy, so this was right up my alley. It's got a kick, but it's still Campbell's, so it's not TOO spicy. My only complaint is the excessively high sodium. If you are trying to watch your sodium intake, this is not the product for you. I wish companies would work to lower the sodium in these types of easy-to-prepare foods. I would definitely get these more often if the sodium wasn't so high.
