They shrink!
I put them on my bed to check size and they were more than big enough for my oversized mattress. Washed them and put them back on the bed and they shrunk significantly, and now barely fit! They also have an odd feel- almost plastic-y. They don’t feel like an organic material. Not sure that I’d buy this brand again.

Unfortunately I think something has changed with these sheets. I have two sets for a queen bed that were amazing and still are after very long usage. However, I recently purchased a set for my new king bed in white. The fitted sheet absolutely does not fit our 16 inch mattress, but we kept them as we had just moved and had no other options. In the span of about three months the fitted sheet has become pilled and very scratchy, something we never had an issue with before. These sheets were great when bought a year or two ago but not anymore, such a shame!

I’ve purchased these sheets in the past and they were great. However, the silver green set I recently purchased is awful! I washed them prior to putting them on my bed. They feel so scratchy that I can’t tolerate sleeping in them!!

I typically love these sheets but the white set is so rough!
I have purchased Threshold 400 count sheets for over 15 years, they are my go to sheets, but this set became super rough after washing them. It’s weird because I have these in Sour Cream color for the guest bed and they’re wonderful. I read similar reviews saying this before I purchased but I trusted these sheet sets so much I wasn’t worried about it. Maybe it’s just the white set..? Really sticks because I was looking forward to them and I typically love these sets. I gave it two stars because I feel they are good, and 100% cotton is wonderful, but that’s it. Hopefully I can return them and try another color to see if it’s better.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHEETS
I have purchased several sets of Threshold sheets over the past few years because of their quality at this price point. Be warned: these sheets have absolutely nose-dived in quality. Not only are they as rough and scratchy as sandpaper, but they also cause what my partner and I can only describe as a burning sensation. They even caused a rash on my legs. And yes, this is after washing them prior to use. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to warn other consumers.

Not the same
I have used Threshold 400 sheets for years and loved them! I was so excited when I put them on my bed. BUT, I couldn't sleep at all. They are now scratchy! Very uncomfortable! I thought maybe they needed to be washed again. Nope still the same! Then my daughter told me her new set was the same! Something has changed and it is not good. This set is going into the yard sale and I will not be buying more!
