About the Author

Tamara Hinton is a TV news producer who has been in the business for over 21 years. She got her first job as a studio camera operator during her senior year of college at the University of Southern Mississippi. Tamara went on to graduate from Southern Miss and set out to grow her career in the TV news business at WDAM and WLOX stations. As a news producer, Tamara, along with a team of strong journalists, produced award-winning newscasts, year after year. She has enjoyed a long career that has allowed her to meet many journalists at the national and local levels, some of whom she remains friends with to this day.
