[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the product for a short time but overall, I'm pleased with the results. One thing I have notice right off the bat is I have to shampoo once, rinse that then use a tiny bit to shampoo again in order to get a good head of suds. I'm guessing that may be because the shampoo is uber-mild since other shampoos I've used allow me to work up a good lather using a similar amount of product on the first try. On a good note, it does appear that my hair seems thicker, with more body. I'll probably have a more comprehensive review after I've used it for longer.

Slowing Down Hair Loss

Not worth the price. Really wanted to like this and I tried this shampoo because I suffer from heavy hair loss but saw no improvement and noticed a lot of dryness in comparison to my usual shampoo. Nothing special.

Allergic Reaction
I want to share my horrible experience with Briogeo's Don't Despair, Repair shampoo. After weeks of itching and swelling behind my ears and neck, one night it got so bad I had to rush to the doctor in the middle of the night. They prescribed me antibiotics, steroids, and creams. The next morning, after using the shampoo again, my skin completely flared up — burning, swelling, and itching uncontrollably. I had to go back to urgent care because my symptoms became unbearable. It was only after completely stopping Briogeo that my skin started healing. This product is advertised as "clean and gentle," but for sensitive people, it can cause serious allergic reactions. Please be aware.
