Poor shave, terrible users manual.
Wow! I am shocked by all the 5 star reviews. I did a lot of research before buying my shaver and bought it based largely on the reviews. That turns out to have been a mistake. I’ve now used by S9 Pro for about 6 months and I have yet to get what I call a “good” shave. No matter how much time I spend, I wind up with patches of hair on my neck I follow the instructions vigorously with no noticeable impact. The “users manual” is for all practical purposes, useless. The chat “help” is similar. All you get is a canned response that rarely has anything at all to do with my question or problem.

Not worth the price
Honestly this product was extremely disappointing. I have been using it for two months and thought that things would get better over time, but they have not. It takes me over an hour to shave with this. It misses hairs like crazy. I need to go over the same area dozens of times to get all hairs. I have tried going in different directions, stretching the skin while shaving, doing it immediately after showering… nothing helps. The shaver also leaves hundreds of micro cuts on my face as well. The price absolutely does not justify this product. I wanted to love this product, but I can’t. I have reverted back to using my Phillips Norelco One Blade which shaves far better and quicker.

I have used series 7 since probably when it first came out and have never had any issues foil head lasted longer than expected I found that the numbers for buying new one very confusing but decided to switch to 9pro+ but was worried because previously purchased other brands that gave me many red bumps and ingrown hairs I have used this a few days and can say that this was even so much better than expected definitely worth the money

MFR servicing makes this product aquality purchase
Received for Christmas a few years ago. Kept the product booklet. The cleaner quit working, so I consulted the booklet for trouble shooting. Found that Braun would fix for free if I returned the malfunctioning part. Skeptical, I mailed the cleaner to the listed address. Received an email that they received it and were repairing it. Two weeks later I received the cleaner - it looked brand-new! UNHEARD OF SERVICE in this day and age! Great shaver with close and smooth shave. Highly recommend the series 9 with cleaner.

Blades on razor break and dobsrios harm to face if unknown and expectantly use without inspecting. Caused me to get stiches

Broke after a week.
Bought this shaver a week ago and it stopped working. Braun told me I could take to the service which would be a 5 hour trip. Now I have to mail it to them to see if it can be fixed. if it can't they will replace it.

WASTE OF MY MONEY
I am getting terrible shaves with my PRO 9 shaver! I am definitely going back to shaving cream and disposable razors! After shaving with the Pro9, I end up having to do a second shave with a blade and cream! I am so sorry I wasted my money on this!

Bad Switches
I've owned 2 series 9 Braun razors and both have faulty switches that just pop out..Of course they are broke, why can't you make a better switch? Is there a way to repair?

Not Nearly as Good as My Old Norelco Rotary
Powerful...makes a lot of noise, but the shave IS NOT close at all...and I have a very difficult time getting parts of my neck. I always end up using a regular razor after to clean up. I don’t have a heavy beard...and the shave does not cover a whole day well.

Excellent Shaver
Over the years I have moved up from a Series 5, Series 7,and now the Series 9 Pro. By far the best yet. What stands out to me as a first impression, is the smoothness of of foil on your face. Additionally, is the quality of the product is term of its feel in your hand. I can't say the shave is as close as a blade, but it's certainly close and more convenient. If I can make one product suggestion it's the product manuals. They could use more written instructions instead of a reliance on pictures. A first time Braun user may find the bells and whistles a little confusing.

Problem with new Braun Serious 9 Head
After 2 months the head 925 doesn't work anymore. I have been using Braun razors for more than 40 years. The last head is a big problem. I will not buy any more Braun. It is extremely expensive, and bad quality.

Worth every penny
I have been shaving with a blade for over 30 years because I never felt like electric razors gave a sufficiently close shave, and I love the feeling of having no stubble at all. However, in this past year I became increasingly frustrated with blade shaving--with the time it takes, the mess it causes, and most of all, with the ever-present nicks and cuts no matter how careful you are. So when I read the reviews of the Braun Series 9 Pro I decided to give it a shot. I have been using the razor for 4 weeks now and it is absolutely the best and most comfortable shave I have ever experienced. The motor is powerful, the head is very smooth, and I can complete the shave and clean the razor in 10-15 minutes. It leaves no razor burn at all and shaves nearly everything as close, or closer, than a blade. Of course no electric razor can get as close as a blade in all areas--there are a couple of places on my neck that the Braun just can't get completely smooth because of the way my beard grows, but I can touch up those areas in the shower with a razor as needed. That said, the Braun shaves my lip, chin, and cheek areas closer than a traditional blade, with none of the nicks and blood that always seemed to come along with blade shaving those spots. The charging and cleaning station also works great. I love being able to just quickly brush out the razor and then dock it in the charging station for a thorough cleaning. This razor is expensive so I realize it may not be in everyone's budget. But if you can afford it, I highly recommend it. It is much, much better than any other Braun or Norelco razor I have tried in the past.

Plastic shaver-series 9
I bought a series 9 shaver and I was very surprised to see that the majority of the shaver is now plastic- whereas previously it was metal. I am very disappointed given I osid I paid a lot for this product. This is the last one u will buy

The shave is exceptional! The photo shows the SmartCare Center for this item with the three water drops lit up. That is NOT the one that comes with this shaver. That is an advanced model where you can select the level of clean. This comes with a basic cleaning station.

Stoped using electric razor years ago because it left my face feeling raw. New Braun is amazingly comfortable and gives a close shave. Combination razor and cleaning station is well worth the price. Great job Braun
