Q: Is it safe on granite?

A: Hi! Branch Basics can be used on natural stone such as granite. The only caveat would be if you have a sealer that requires a particular pH. The pH of our concentrate is 8.5 +/- 0.5. If you have a concern that requires a particular pH. It's always a good idea to test an inconspicuous area of your granite to see how the product interacts with the surface. It's very rare to hear that a customer has an issue with our formula, but it's always a good idea to test it first.

A: Yes, you can use the All Purpose on your stainless steel appliances. If if leaves streaks, you can mix a more dilute solution in a separate bottle. Be sure to use distilled water to dilute the solution to leave a streak-free finish.

A: Thanks for your question! The All-Purpose spray is too strong to use on wood furniture and could affect the finish. Only a very dilute solution can be used on wood. Here's a recipe to create a dusting spray with Branch Basics: WOOD DUSTING SPRAY For our homemade dusting spray, see below: • 1 cup distilled water • ⅛ teaspoon Branch Basics Concentrate • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or jojoba oil, optional • 3 drops organic lemon essential oil, optional To Use: Spray a cloth (microfiber is preferable), then wipe surfaces to remove dust. This may not be safe for all wood surfaces. It’s important to test an inconspicuous spot on the wood to see how the wood sealer responds before using.

I have tried and used many cleaning products label natural, organic, earth friendly, etc. The majority of the time (other than Attitude products) I lose interest quickly. Usually they don’t work very well and the extra expense is not worth it. So I am very pleased with Branch Basics. I have been using this for years! Happy to see it is available at Target so my family can easily purchase and start their “little less toxic” journey. This is an excellent, powerful, effective non-toxic alternative to other surface cleaners like Clorox, Mrs. Meyers, Lysol, Mr. Clean, and Method. I use this on my countertops, microwave, and stove to clean oily or stuck-on food residue. It is concentrated so a couple sprays goes a long way. Combine this with their oxygen boost (found on their website) for an even deeper clean. Bonami is an alternative non-toxic scrub that can easily be found at health food stores or online that I highly recommend for cleaning sinks, showers and tubs. Happy Non-Toxic Cleaning!
