Hoping for a follow up story!
I enjoyed this story. It takes me a long time to decide on which book to read and I’m happy I settled on this one. The story based on shadows was interesting and the main character was well developed. I was leery because the author usually writes YA and this was her first actual adult book. You do have to pay attention as she explains the different types of shadow magic throughout, but that’s what makes it good. I hope she follows it up! There’s definitely potential for more world building and stories.
