took care of it according to the instructions. A week later its stained and sticky. The quality is not worth the price.

We are very sorry to hear about the issues with your cookware. This issue can be easily resolved! It is likely that you have a layer of carbonized oil built up on your pan that will create a barrier between the pan and your food. When this happens, you are basically cooking on the layer of oil as opposed to the surface of the pan. This layer may not be visible. This cleaning method has proven to be extremely successful and can be used when you notice staining and/or sticking. For the best results, please try this method twice. Once complete, you may resume normal washing with soap and sponge. Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a near boil for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a sturdy surface such as a wooden cutting board. Carefully use a Melamine sponge on the warm surface; this should do the trick. If this does not work, please email GreenPan directly at customercare.us@greenpan.com. They are happy to help!

A workhorse pan for regular use
The Bobby Flay carbon steel frypan is a reliable sturdy lightweight pan for everyday use. It's great for dishes that start on the stovetop and finish in the oven or under the broiler since it is safe up to 600 degrees. It was preconditioned so no food sticking on the first use. I do wish it had a smoother handle finish for comfort, but this is a minor quibble.

Solid piece
Good size/shape for a lot more than Paella - I use it for sauteing and stir frys. Makes meal prep simple. Will try it next on steaks and see if it can replace a heavy cast iron for me.

Crepe Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a crepe making novice I thoroughly enjoyed using this Bobby Flay by Greenspan 11” Carbon Steel Crepe Pan. It gets hot and maintains even heat beautifully. Even my husband couldn’t resist trying it out. It’s weighty but still easily handled with one hand. Just rent to oil it after washing and it will keep looking good.

This was my favorite pan but several weeks after regular use the cheap thin nonstick layer wore off and pan began to rust. Yes, rust appeared within hours after washing. Ole Bobby should be ashamed of endorsing a product that I’m sure he’s never used. I’m very disappointed and just wanted to try warm others about this particular pan. It’s a terrible product. BE WARNED, DO NOT PURCHASE!!

Versatile, wonderful pan!

Durable, very large, you may need help moving it as it's quite heavy. Extremely easy to clean, just follow the directions! I've made haluski, roast & potatoes, chicken parm, even grilled cheese! This would make a wonderful bridal shower, wedding gift or a new house gift. My family doesn't care for paella but this pan is so versatile I can see myself using it for many different meals!

Quality Made Pan!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For full disclosure, I received this pan complimentary in exchange for my honest review. Having grown up watching Bobby Flay, I was excited to test out his cookware to see how it performed. This is a very quality made pan. It carries weight, yet remains lightweight. This comes pre seasoned which is very convenient. It’s nonstick and gets better the more you use it. While I have yet to use this for crepes, I’ve cooked everything from eggs to quesadillas to pancakes to sautéed veggies, and have had a smooth and easy cooking process. This pan heats up quite fast and the heat is evenly distributed, which allows what you’re cooking to be cooked evenly. Cleaning this is hassle-free and requires minimal effort. Make sure to hand wash only, and to dry immediately after washing. This pan will have an endless amount of uses, while lasting a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Great item to have in the kitchen!

It’s HUGE and makes it so easy to cook large meals. The sides are tall enough where the food doesn’t spill out when you are cooking. It’s also not extremely heavy despite it being big.

Large paella pan can be multipurpose
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this paella pan to review and was excited to finally be motivated to make paella. I made sure to buy the recommended rice for the dish and followed a recipe with several reviews online. This paella dish is quite large compared to standard skillets, so I did notice the outside edge around the lip didn't get as hot (not sure it matters but we have a flame top range). However, everything cooked through well and my only problem was I added too much liquid to the recipe. I don't have a lot of experience with paella pans but didn't seem to have any major issues with this one!

We've used it on our charcoal grill to cook burgers, onions and bacon. We've used it for breakfast. Again, it's a staple. The heat stays consistent throughout the pan. Easy to clean and we clean it like our cast iron skillets. If you're looking to get an almost everything pan, get this one! This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review.

Nice Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this pan. It is the perfect replacement for a comparable Bialetti long handled nonstick pan I've had for over a decade that is almost impossible to store. The Bobby Flay by Greenpan 15" Carbon Steel Paella pan feels like a good quality pan. I'm just a little intimidated by the cleaning instructions. It feels like the care is similar to seasoned cast iron. The first picture is right out of the box and the second is after cleaning after the first use. It definitely does not maintain appearance, but it does seem to perform well. I am happy to have it and be able to replace my other pan.
