Food like paste! This goo- my Pomeranian was loving other brand chicken and or need roll food. He tried the chicken it made home sick for two days then tried beef and he sniffs and walks away. Too much paste- what is it rice flour?

Because she’s sometimes picky with her foods and treats. The packaging was good, but I’d also love an option that’s resealable. Would definitely recommend the product to other dog moms!

Blue Buffalo's Love Lade Fresh Small Breed is of the highest quality. You can freeze it and save for later or serve it right away but either way it's just as fresh. My 2 small chihuahuas loved it and I don't think they will be eating anything else any time soon. They are not your typical dogs, like most, where they scarf down anything as long as it's food. They actually have a very particular palette, which can make it difficult to find foods they will eat, enjoy, and not waste. Not with this stuff. Its made from all natural ingredients and also has the necessary vitamins. The packaging is appealing and would entice me to purchase in the store. I will be purchasing more!

It’s easy to portion out with the table on the packaging. I cut out the whole portion first then chopped it up for him. This is great for older smaller dogs that don’t have teeth or can’t eat hard kibble. It’s great to see real vegetables mixed in to show its authenticity.

However thr food itself is very smelly compared to other Fresh dog food I have tried. I would repurchase and reccomend to others. However if you are sensitive to smells, this is not for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chicken was his first choice. And he loved it! You will need to chop it up for them cause we didn't & he grabbed it from his bowl & ran off. He was way too excited to try it out. He was definitely thrilled & picked every piece from his bowl.

We just started introducing beef with the homestyle beef stew in the can and she has taken a liking to that as well. Her main meal is Life protection kibble small breed chicken flavor and we get her the homestyle chicken recipe Life protection wet food as well. But we use the wet food as a treat. When I gave her this in her bowl she looked at it and then she looked at me as if it was oh God don't tell me it's the beef again. But she sniffed it and she licked it and she ate the whole thing. This dog absolutely loves the chicken one. Not a fan of the beef at all but definitely a fan of the chicken I like to see the fact that there's pieces of carrots in there there's peas in there she would just went absolutely berserk. She licked her bowl clean and was looking at me for more and I was like yeah this is got a lot of calories it's not a daily thing so it's a one meal per day treat. Because we feed her a lot less calories than what one serving of this fresh food is. because she is a mini dachshund and I don't need the additional weight on her back we have to keep her under 14 lb so I am extremely strict as far as what she is fed. So feeding her fresh food is only going to make her heavy. Although I do recommend this to anyone that this the chicken at least was her top favorite out of the two and we may purchase this from time to time just as a treat once a day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog usually eats dry food. I’ll put it in her bowl and she doesn’t really care until she’s really hungry. With this food she instantly gobbles it all up. I love the quality ingredients and that the first couple ingredients are meat. I just wish it was lower in calories. I’d recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's hard to review something I didn't personally taste, but the dog's reaction to it was total excitement. My husband thought it smelled like "real" food, I agreed that it had a lunchmeat-type smell, not unpleasant. I diced up the log into bite size chunks to serve it as a topper for their usual dry food. I liked that you could see actual chunks of vegetables in it. I also fed it as occasional treats as well. They all seemed to process the food well and the diabetic dog's numbers were still good when adding this to her mealtime. The only drawbacks would be the need to chop up the log and store the leftovers somewhere. I used my own container, but I didn't love the extra work. This would also be a very expensive food to feed all on its own.
