Worst iron ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst iron ever ~ keeps shutting off!! I plug it in wait a minute or two for it to heat up and within a minute it shuts off~I move the fabric wheel higher and it turns on again for a few minutes and shuts off again!! Aweful and frustrating~the iron is less than 2 years old and has been doing it since the beginning but keeps getting worse

Wasteful plastics?
Unpacking the iron there was a plastic doohickey that was protected by cardboard. NOWHERE on the box, picture, instructions, or website does it give a clue as to what this is or its function. Either explain the item or eliminate the plastic waste

General Purpose Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, you cannot beat this iron. Sadly, I had to deep six my last Black and Decker iron; it was only 28 years old! So I knew I definitely wanted another B&D product. It has lots of steam, heats up fast and does a really good job on anything I iron.

Sleekd and to use
I just used this for the first time...easy to fill, stands steadily on the heel, produces a lot of steam and isn't to heavy to use comfortably. Don't have to use all distilled water, but can mix hard and distilled half and half. Time will tell how long it will last! Only thing I would recommend is to make the print larger on the dial. Could hardly read it even with my glasses on.

Great colors and great performance
For what I've seen so far this iron is fine but nothing spectacular. It works just as well as any other iron. Even so, I love the color. It is as bold and bright as the picture. I love any iron with a steam nozzle and of course. The buttons are big and easy to use. I've had other irons with confusing buttons so this is a plus. In addition, the lid to pour water in is also quite wide, so pouring water becomes a lot easier. I don't like that the cord is not stored easily. One of my complaints.

Great-Thus Far
Just bought this week after another 2.5 yr old B&D iron just suddenly quit. This one has been good thus far. Not impressed with the “Self-Cleaning” button. Tried it and got nothing. Also the Steam button doesn’t react instantly as expected.

Great features!
Very pleased with this new iron! I replaced my old nonworking iron with this new own. It’s light weight, steams well and I can see the water level much better. Has a bit of rubber on the back bottom which keeps it from slipping off the ironing board. And has a nice long cord.
