Q: How do we serve it to our newborns?

A: We have been using the product now for about 1 month with successful results. We add 5 drops to little one’s bottle once a day.
submitted byUser1238 - 1 year agoA: Shake the tube well for 10 seconds, press gently to dispense 5 drops into a spoon. Give by spoon, and repeat daily. Do not add drops to hot food, hot drinks or feed directly into the mouth from the bottle, as this may reduce the quality of the product.

Q: How do we administer this to a newborn? Is it still 5 drops ? I breastfeed and would like to know if we can we put it in the bottle

A: For a newborn, we recommend placing the 5 drops on a spoon before giving them to your baby. You can also apply the drops on your finger or nipple (if breastfeeding), and let your baby take the drops directly from either. We don’t recommend mixing the drops into a bottle, as it’s difficult to ensure your baby receives the full dosage.

We used this product for our oldest daughter who was colic and it work great! Unfortunately the new formula has sunflower seed which can cause inflammation. It’s disappointing as it was such a clean product a few years ago.

Gave to my baby to help with gas and spit ups. I know there is an adjustment period whenever babies are put on probiotics, but he was crying and screaming in pain for HOURS. Couldn’t do anything to console him. Was not able to pas gas or a bowel movement. Had to use windi the gas passer for the first time. Be warned.

Lifesaver
My newborn was struggling with gas and would be up most of the night screaming because he was so uncomfortable. The doctor suggested trying a probiotic. I liked this one because it has the vitamin d included so I wouldn't need to do two separate drops a day. After only 2 days using these my baby seems so much more comfortable, is having bigger bowel movements, and the late night screaming has stopped. Truly a lifesaver. Worth a try
I was hesitant to try these drops after reading some of the mixed reviews. My baby was really struggling to pass gas unable to fall asleep I could her her tummy rumble arching her back in discomfort. She was pooping every 3 to 4 days and spitting up. She has been on these drops for a week and what a difference it has made. She can actually nap during the day and sleep at night, poops everyday now and is passing gas way easier. indigestion and reflux have gotten better. I forgot to give her the drops today & oh my she got so cranky I could hear her belly going again. Her pediatrician did not want to her on pepcid as it changes their flora unless she was miserable & nothing else worked. These drops are worth a try before getting a prescription. Since day one i noticed a difference but after a week i really saw an improvement. But Every baby different so always ck with your doctor. These Drops are Expensive but worth it.

A Necessity

This stuff works great I have 4.5 months old and he has very bad gas, burps, and cry nonstop. I’ve tried the mommybliss which I could only give him when he calms ugh and it never work I tried it before with my other kids too in the past. But BioGaia works immediately I don’t have to wait til baby stops crying.
