Best Choice Products Deluxe Pretend Play Kitchen with Island, Espresso Machine Version

When we bought this, I couldn’t find any reviews on it so I was actually planning on going with a different kitchen that we bought at the same time but we were so impressed with the quality of this one that we ended up returning the other one instead. All of the parts and hardware were labeled and the instructions were fairly clear (a few typos in the instruction booklet but we were able to figure out what they meant) so it wasn’t super challenging to put together but there were about 50 steps so it took about 6.5 hours with one person assembling it. Pros: -lots of storage -burners light up and make sound when a pan is set on them -hood lights up and makes a fan sound -sink faucet twists -oven knobs turn and click -detached island can be placed in multiple configurations -working ice dispenser in fridge (it does get jammed pretty easily so it works best if there are only 1-2 ice cubes in it) Cons: -the burner and fan sounds can get a little overstimulating. The burner does eventually go off on its own even with a pan sitting on it but it does take a little bit. The fan you do have to manually turn off. -the bottom of the sink is basically a thick piece of white cardboard and would definitely get ruined if any liquid spilled on it -this one is personal preference but it was almost a reason I didn’t buy the kitchen in the first place—it really drives me crazy how the fridge height is so disporortionate to the rest of the kitchen. It’s more or less an under the counter mini fridge. I wish they had left out the espresso station and maybe made the microwave a little smaller to accommodate a larger fridge -it would have been nice to have a shelf in the fridge and in the under sink cupboard. Overall we are very pleased with it and our toddler loves it!
