Firstly the item arrived three days after the intended delivery date, Damaged! The item is sold by a third party Seller and is not coming from target directly. This item that I purchased as new is obviously used. Item's box was not only mangled and disheveled, Taped up and DAMAGED, but the item inside was also DAMAGED- Scratched, chipped and not as the description described. This item is a magnetic door ALUMINUM fireplace cover, NOT IRON Does not have any wood. Does not have any wood pattern, JUST STAINS LIKE BLACK MOLD?This item is spray painted with gold spray paint That is not sealed, and will rub off on your hands gloves and furniture. When I describe the item as such to the customer service rep, she became dismissive and disgruntled and did everything in her power to not assist me with a return for the item. I then asked for the call to be escalated to someone who is willing to assist. She then became disgruntled and told me that they don't have an escalation process and that their escalation process is to put in a ticket, and you can write a survey. I completely understand why target is consistently boycotted, and their team members and employees are never happy because the company they work for has such a shaky bottom line and they make customers pay for the company's mistakes. If they never intend on fixing the issues or making it right especially on something that is their error, i will never shop here again. This was a completely wasted effort and a completely waste of my time and finances, I recommend going through a company that is going to have accountability for their mistakes and make it right for the customer. If I purchase something online with a specific description, that is exactly what I should get, not whatever your third party seller wants to send me. Oh, and to top it all off, it's missing parts. Supposed to have two magnets, one at the top and the bottom only has one at the top.So it does not clasp all the way and the feat cannot be screwed on.Because there is no screws or pegs.

Shipped without one rubber pad one of the feet. Called customer service at 8:30 pm eastern standard time, company voice message said they were open till 9:30 pacific coast time. No answer, I called outside their business hours??

It looks SO good and adds the perfect amount of gold to our fireplace all while being fully functional keeping embers contained.

Weak material, flimsy, not sturdy. The gold color is also off, it’s has a rose gold tinge. I had to return. I do not recommend.

This screen is awful. Has black marks all over it. Don't know if this was dropped and dragged at the warehouse or if this is meant to look this way? It's also a very orange-y gold. Can't use this.

Absolutely not meant for use in front of a real fire. When both doors are open, the screen falls forward. When used in front of real heat, the screen weakens within a week and no longer remains flush against the fireplace even when both doors are closed. Sparks can also fly through the mesh - I have watched it happen more than once while using this in front of a real fire daily for the last 6 weeks. You get what you pay for. We received a full refund from the manufacturer and are only using it until our new screen arrives, one that cost much more money and will hopefully be able to stand the heat.

The dimensions didn’t work for us but super easy to assemble and looked great.

It looks good, but once you open both doors, the weight becomes off balance and the screen falls towards you.
