Instructions were definitely lacking details and misleading. Husband and I are both engineers and very handy with construction. I am convinced that is the only reason we figured out the correct way to assemble these chairs. The bottom supports are marked with arrows, however the instructions do not specify which way the arrows should point once assembled. You would think it would be consistent all arrows pointing forward or backward, but we did not find this to be the case. It is very important that these are installed in the correct orientation, and I don’t think the majority of people would be able to figure it out. Additionally the instructions do not make it clear which orientation the back piece should be in. It took some trial and error for us to figure it out. Once assembled they seem fairly sturdy. We are pleased with the way they look. We’ll see if they hold up.

Easy to assemble and they seem relatively solid and pretty but ultimately we returned them. The back and seat are at a weird uncomfortable angle so you feel like you are tilted backwards when sitting in them. Not particularly functional for eating at a kitchen island.

Really nice chairs. Comfortable and seems to be well made. Assembly was super easy, especially if you have another set of hands to help. Took about 30 minutes to assemble all three.

1) No adjustable chair leg bottomw - chairs do not sit with all four legs on the floor. 2) Only cheap felt leg bottoms provided with cheap adhesive provided - falling off less than an hour after finishing assembly 3) Phillips screws provided for securing several chair parts with no pre-drilled guide holes. Nearly impossible to tighten into place. Fortunately I had my own star head screws of similar length. 4) Backrest holes aligned upside down from instructions. DON'T BUY

Once put together, these chairs look nice. The first one was a bear to put together but once you figure out what not to do, the rest go a bit easier. The seat color was not the cream color that was pictured. It has a tan patterned fabric. Disappointed but decided to keep them.
