Q: Did anyone else have a problem with the top star being extremely loose? So loose that it doesn't stand up straight? I had no additional pieces except the tree, light and star.

A: I just opened mine, it is the same. The star falls down inside, the hole is too big, even with rubber ring they put on it.

A: That is not true..I made mine in ceramic class years ago.. the color plastic pieces u can change

If the lamp lightbulb needs to be replaced, replace only with a canelabra-base-UL certified light bulb that is 7 watts or less. Notifications of “delayed” shipping and still no product delivery, but also given a “no eligible return” status!! Where is the item ordered and over a month delay for shipping and delivery? This is an example of why I do not buy items online; it’s one of a very few things ordered online and this happens. One very dissatisfied customer now having to resolve this issue and inconvenienced, charged $$$.

Shipment had missing oarts. Poor quality craftsmanship on the holly.
I opened the package and there is no star topper. They included the cord and bulb but the other compartment was empty where the star should be. I am so sad. I had always wanted one. I am returning it. I will buy a different brand for sure that is not BCP. The painting was okay but The holly shape was not even painted on the base and looked like it was wiped off before firing. Not high quality.

This piece is super festive and cute, but you need to check for quality when you receive it. The first one we received had a bunch of bulbs at wonky angles and the star wouldn’t stay up. When my second purchase (not a replacement, because they don’t replace flawed products—or honor the initial sale price) arrived it was very obvious that someone else had previously unpackaged it. Just means they are sending flawed products back out.
