Bath Bomb Making Kit - Mondo Llama™

This is an absolutely terrible craft kit. The directions were extremely lacking - not nearly enough detail. And not even close to enough material to make even one bath bomb. Used half of the recommended powder and all of the provided oil and the powder would not stick together to form into a ball shape. Super disappointed!!

This was really cool to have. my daughter loves bath bombs and crafts so this was a good fit. A bit pricey. I would think this would be a bit cheaper. they should do themed versions of this set for the seasons/holidays. I would definitely buy.

My daughter loved this bath bomb DIY kit! It came with everything we needed. And we did not add extra oil. The process was super straightforward and surprisingly relaxing. The bath bombs turned out beautifully—fizzy, fragrant, and they held together perfectly. We are able to make 5 bath bombs in total.

This item is the Sugar Free Haribo Gummie Bears of bath items; while it may not give you explosive diarrhea, it will leave you with a **massive** mess to clean up. In hindsight, I should have known that dried roses and lavender would be a horrible idea in a bath tub…and yet, I sit here trying to rid my bath tub, and now bath drain, of each of the god forsaken dry flowers. Please, head my words lest you fall victim to these small, but mighty flowers, either don’t get this item at all, or **do not** use **any** of the dried flowers. Otherwise, pretty cool.

Followed directions exactly and it just was too dry and fell apart. Not enough supplies provided

This product needs to be taken off the shelf. The directions are incomplete, have spelling mistakes, and unclear measurements. There isn't enough product to even make one bath bomb. We had to add several teaspoons of olive oil to get the mixture to stick. What a disappointment.

The direction measurement are confusing and not nearly enough coconut oil is supplied. Couldn't even make one bath bomb successfully with what was provided. Wouldn't have purchased if I read these reviews ahead of time.

The measuring proportions did not match with how much coconut oil that was needed. Needed a lot more oil. We were finally able to make 1 bath bomb but didn't have enough ingredients to make more. My daughter was pretty disappointed.

Great kit, fun to do with the family and worth the cost. Finished product fizzed up in the bath, which the kids loved. We could make 5 1/2 bombs with 1 bag of mix. Definitely need more oil to get it to the right consistency to stay together. I used 1.5 Tbsp of my own coconut oil but next time will do 2-2.5 Tbsp so it won’t be as fragile. We only used half of the scent and found it to be a little overwhelming - will definitely use less in the future. The kids liked experimenting with colors so we had some cool tie-dye style bath bombs, but those ended up mixing to a brown color in the bath. Would stick to solid color choices.

I bought this for my 10yr old and took one of the reviews recommendation of using more coconut oil and it was perfect! She was able to create the bath bombs on her own and look and smell great! She really enjoyed this set! 4 stars for lack of coconut oil

A perfect Christmas gift for kids or cute self care gift if you enjoy crafty things. You can also add your own aroma oils to these if you want different scents.

I read the reviews first and knew I would need extra oil. I had been wanting to make my own bath bombs for a long time because my toddler is obsessed with them so I had some coconut oil and shea butter I had been saving and I used some of that to add to the recipe. I really did need quite a bit more than the kit came with but I didn’t mind because I was happy to add my quality ingredients. I still rate the kit 5 stars because I have plenty of leftover flowers, oils, and coloring to make another batch later on. With all the added oil I was able to make 5 bath bombs instead of 4. We also added some glitter for funsies. The main reason I wanted to buy a kit was for the mold, which I am very happy to have to make more bombs in the future. They turned out so cute! I can’t wait to use one for bath time tonight. I wasn’t sure how much oil to add so I just added a dropper full at a time with the included plastic dropper thing. I just added oil until the mixture held together when squeezed. I heated the oil to melt it before hand and I feel like using some of my own oil will also help for setting because it will harden as it cools. I got the kit on sale but now that I’ve tried it I feel like it would be worth the normal cost and I might buy another one just to have 2 of the molding balls for future use. My 4 year old had a lot of fun making them with me. It was a bit messy because he treated it like play sand but that’s to be expected with a toddler. We used our hands without gloves and I appreciate that the dye easily washed off. I only wish that all the ingredients were listed for the bag of “mixed powder” so that I would know what all is in my bath bombs. Oh, and half the rose oil leaked out into the box but I don’t think that’s a normal problem, just bad luck on my part 😂 the rose oil did smell nice though! The lavender oil is ok, I prefer the smell of the lavender oil I have so I mixed in some of my own lavender oil as well but the one it came with is fine.

Like other reviews, coconut oil included in the box is not enough but everything else works perfectly. We added +33ml of avocado oil addition to the coconut oil and they finally came together. My 6 years old and I had good time making these bath bombs. We were able to make 4 and a half.

This made a perfect birthday gift. Its not to expensive for what the activity entails. Now i am not able to voice my opinion on the actual product given that we bought this as a gift. However I really did enjoy the convince and the price of the product.

Absolute Fail! Terrible directions. Not enough coconut oil. Do not buy.

We were able to get about one bath bomb out of it. The instructions were unclear and didn’t always give the proper tools to add what it was asking. Still fun for kids to play and experiment with even if it didn’t end up as a bath bomb.

I thought this was such a cool kit and was so excited but Buyer beware, not enough coconut oil in the kit to form the bath bombs just turns into a powder mess.

This was such a fun activity to do with my boys. They are obsessed with bath bombs and experiments and this felt like a little combination of both!
