One of the pins flew out of the brush as I was brushing my very fine (and not tangled) hair. It also left my hair very staticky.

This brush is great for my fine shoulder length hair. It's so gentle but still allows for smoothing and adding volume while blow-drying. I truly believe that less hair falls out after washing and drying than with previous brushes. It's also easy to hold and very attractive—nice to have something made of sustainable wood.

I bought this for a Birthday Gift for my daughter. She really likes it.

I bought this for my son and one for my son in law for Christmas. It seems to be of very good quality. It's hard to shop for them and they both seemed to like it.

And I'm 52. I used to use a plastic/rubber brush, and when the last one died, I decided to look for a better option. Even with all of the great reviews for this Bass wood brush I was skeptical. I had visions of my fine, long hair getting snarled in the bristles. The bristles are so smooth! My hair hasn't once gotten snarled or become tangled during brushing. I don't get a scalp full of oil while the ends are bone dry, like with a boar bristle. I barely get any hairs in the brush after I'm done. I wish I had tried this sooner, because my hair was a WRECK and it looks and feels great now. Just try it!

Great Brush!! Wood bristles - - - who'da thunk it?! Love everything about it. Does a great job on my curly hair. Feels good to my scalp, so I give my scalp a bunch of extra brushing. If that encourages extra circulation to my scalp and hair, then good for me. Nice shape and handle; feels good in my hand; looks good; does a great job. . . . As I tell my four grown children, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful." But seriously, folks, this is the best brush I've owned in a long, long time, maybe forever. . . And I go back a long, long time. I seriously recommend that you get yourself one of these brushes. Don't worry, your kids won't hate you because you're beautiful. Go for it. Works for me.

so wonderful for stimulating the scalp and making hair shine....the bristles feel wonderful on the scalp and the results of consistent usage of this brush seems to make the hair healthier looking; got the brush for me but my husband wanted one as well after hearing me brag on this brush...

Best brush I ever used! I just received mine yesterday and from the first brush stroke, I knew this was " THE ONE". I have fine hair and a lot of it. When using other brushes or combs ( I have tried so many from Nick Chávez to boar bristle) they all did the same thing. They turned my hair into a fly away static mess unless I spritzed my hair damp with water before brushing or combing. With the Bass bamboo my hair lies smooth and is so soft. I used to get a brush full of hair every time I brushed. With the Bass bamboo brush, only a very few strands are lost no matter how long I brush. I haven't even mentioned my scalp yet. It feels awesome!! I now brush my hair several times a day since I know I won't go " bushy" or lose a handful of hair and my scalp gets a message too. I am sure to order me another one of these high quality brushes. This is a good price too! I did my research before finding them here. Very expensive else where. Thank you for a wonderful product! Quality and great price. This is the best brush I have bought. When I brush my hair, I feel like I am getting a scalp massage. The bristles are rounded and do not scratch. Brush goes through my hair (shoulder length) without pulling or tugging. Love it!

I had a Bass brush for almost 20 years and loved it. My cat decided she loved it too and would not leave me alone unless I brushed her with it. She won so I looked online to see if they are still in production and was so glad to see Swanson carries them. I got two new ones for me and my son, giving up my old one to the cat. Now we're all happy. I have fine hair that tangles easily and no other brush is as gentle on it as these. The quality is amazing. I'm sure these will outlast me and my cat!

Great product - nothing to complain about here! The wooden bristles feel more substantial on my scalp than my previous brush. It feels more like a head massage!

I have only used this brush for a week but already can tell it rips out less hair. It is light weight and works great. Love it!
