Love this compact and convenient cooler. I was in a bit of a pinch as I needed a cooler to store my placenta in until we arrived home from the hospital. this cooler was the perfect size and stored the placenta well, keeping it nice and cold until we were able to refrigerate it. the compact size allowed us to easily clean and store it. Keep it pretty cool throughout the day if you put it in shade. I purchased this item and as soon as it got here, I put it outside in this Texas weather it was 98° outside and I have put it in the shade and it kept a pretty cool throughout the day. I put it outside at 12 P.M. And I brought it in at five P.M. and the water stayed cool. The cooler was reading 69° internal and the outside was 100°. So there was about 30° difference. I did put two ice packs along ice to keep it cool longer and it did melt throughout the day
