Used machine with a large dent
When I received this item it looked like it had been used already and came with a dent in the side. I was so excited to receive my rice cooker and when the package showed up, it was all taped shut. When I opened it, it appeared that the measuring cup had been poorly “cleaned”. The machine was clean but not in any plastic wrapping. The box was in an okay condition so there was no reason for the machine to have such a large dent on its side.

Outstanding rice cooker
Years ago I saw this on America’s Test Kitchen and it was the winner of rice cooker’s. I finally decided to get one not long ago and it’s excellent. I have had others and I just never really cared for them but this one is perfection. I use it every week and the rice comes out perfect every time! Always remember to thoroughly rinse your rice. It’s extremely important and I think a lot of people forget to do that and just end up with a mess. Rinse the rice until the water is clear and you’ll have perfectly cooked rice every time.

To be clear: this is a 4-cup rice maker. You are not going to get 8 cups of rice with this machine. Use a little less water than you think you’ll need. Doesn’t take up much space as far as storage.
