Agri-Fab 185 Lb. Tow-Behind ATV Broadcast Spreader

The impeller shaft was off center in the hopper opening by about 3/8". Also axle was off center by about the same amount.

I just used the ATV/UTV spreader to broadcast over 3000 pounds of lime and fertilizer in preparation for fall deer food plots. The spreader worked flawlessly and I accomplished my task quicker than expected. The spreader easily handled heavy loads (four 40 pound bags of lime at a time) even over rough ground that I worried might cause a tip over. No cause for concern though, the spreader remained stable and upright. I highly recommend this spreader.

Easy to access cover lever from the seat of the tractor.

Bought one, overtime it would not close. Bought another and this one is somehow worst. This new one will not close at all. So as soon as you put the fertilizer in there it all spills out.

HAD AN AGRI-FAB SPREADER FOR YEARS BUT FINALLY WORE OUT. THIS SPREADER IS MUCH BETTER BUILT

Seems well built, very little grease on gears, turned over rough, pulled covers and filled cavity with grease, smoothed out, relatively easy assembly, could use some deflectors to keep material from flying towards tow vehicle

Assembly was fairly straight forward. Follow instructions closely - pay attention to pictures! I added an extension arm in order to shut flow off and on while pulling behind my ATV. Spread 400lbs of rye seed on food plots - worked great!

Like many others, gears are binding and the drive tire drags. Fortunately, the reatailer offered me a return and full refund since the spreader was unused. My last Agrifab spreader never really worked that well either, so I'm done with Agrifab now amd will spend my money at Chapin or Spyker.

Not great , hard to get the spreader to cut off . Running excess when you start and stop. Adjustments are very tricky

Works great, just wish you could reach the control lever from sitting position on my lawn mower. You have to jump off quickly to turn off spreader shoot. Maybe extension handle option would be great. Very happy with how it works

Have problem with the transmission it turns then locks up it is a factory sealed case and if I take it apart it will void the warranty

This is by far the best spreader I have ever used or owned. I have a large yard, 4 plus acres and the larger capacity makes the work expeditiously faster than comparable models. The issue I always run into with all other models is the narrow wheel base, high center of gravity and the constant threat of tipping over creating a loss of product, and potentially burn spot in my yard. This product as eliminated all those concerns/ problems and can run thru $2k of product with ease. The only issues I have is when there is a drastic slope change, like a ditch crossing, the adjustment handel that operator gate hits the rack on the back of my ATV. This will not be an issue for the average user.

Great spreader! Bought it to replace a new one (not Agri-Fab brand) that was defective from the get go.

The spreader is very heavy-duty and was easily assembled.

The spreader works great! It spreads the material evenly and a good distance. The assembly wasn’t too bad however, I would rather have written directions along with the illustrations rather having to watch a video. I would recommend buying this product very much. Very well made.

To dry to use it yet,seems well built,look forward to using it this fall

Poor design - 'broadcast' materials mostly bounce off inside of wheels and fall down greatly limiting broadcast effectiveness

Assembly was easy and straightforward (there’s a video on the website if you need clarification on anything). Impressive quality. I’m expecting the spreader to last for several years.

Good little spreader for yards. Did a 2 acre clover field with it and was a little too much for it when pulling with UTV. First use of it, the shaft for the spinner and plate broke. Agri-Fab was awesome to get me the parts to fix it for free and quick shipping. Customer service is really good.
