I purchased 6 of these chairs about 5 years ago and now most of the vinyl has cracks in it and only one of the chairs works with the hydraulic piston

This is one of the best bar stools I have ever had. It's comfortable, modern and well made. It was very easy to assemble.

Love it!! I originally purchased two stools along with a high top bar table. When I moved, I purchased two more to place against my island. Love the look and are comfortable. Very easy to put together, no additional tools needed.

Ordered two of these as gifts. Noticed a hole in one. Ordered a replacement...it too arrived damaged with a hole/tear in it. When taking apart the one for return - noticed that the thrid one also had a tear on the underside. 3 for 3 - all damaged. Poor quality.

I really like these bar chairs. I bought them for my entertainment room. They are comfortable and adjustable for people short and tall. I would recommend these chairs.

Great sleek modern look! Assembly was easy and quick for 2 stools. Packaging in one of the boxes looked like it had been opened previously and the handle for the adjustment lever was in the box, but separated from the mechanism. First thought was the item was broken, but I reattached handle easily by screwing back onto lever. Very pleased and at a clearance price.

The first chair I received had a broken hydraulic so it was stuck at the top unless I sat on it...and then it went all the way down. The return/replacement process was a hassle (customer service) and based on other reviews I wonder if they are blowing them out because of quality control issues like this. The replacement chair has been great for all the reasons I originally bought it. It can go high enough for me to sit at my standing desk and comfortable to work on for a few hours. It looks and feels like better quality than the price, overall it's a good find when you get one that works!

I was disgusted when I opened the box to find that the stool was used. Not gently used, but the leather seat had stains and the base had what appeared to be pet hair and dust collected around each foot. I can't believe Target would ship an item like this.

I originally purchased 3 white ones, 1 arrived with a big cut in the back of chair. Returned, ordered another, that one had black scuff marks in the back that can’t be removed. Chairs seem like good quality for the price if you can get lucky enough not to get a damaged one!

I’ve had it a little over a week. Easy assembly. Instructions could use a little more explanation on how the adjustment mechanism works. I wasted some time trying to figure it out. It came together and works well. Seems to be sturdy - I weigh 215 lbs and it supports me well.

Great chair. Easy to put together. I use it for my desk. Thin padding on the seat. Probably not comfortable for a really long period of time, but works for an hour or so.

Just as the picture, can't complain. It goes up and down smoothly, they are so sleek and modern and looks great in my contemporary kitchen. Makes my kitchen look more modern.
