Stuck pixels for $1000. Model is defective

DEAD/STUCK PIXEL WARNING. Does all the things a hdmi 2.1 monitor should but there is a stuck pixel smack dab in the middle of the screen that is extremely distracting. I have purchased refurb monitors in the past and didn't have this problem so I figured it shouldn't be an issue. I assumed getting it straight from the manufacturer would be a safe bet. I was very very wrong. I contacted support to see about an exchange and they told me the fine print says there is up to 5 DEAD PIXELS allowed with these refurb models so buyer beware. Kinda stings to pay $700 and have a GIANT GREEN DOT in the middle of the screen. You might save a few hundred bucks but you are taking a gamble on getting sent a model with dead pixels. Don't take your chances with this refurbished or new. You can see even in the new models people complaining about stuck/dead pixels after a few weeks. Appalling for how much this monitor costs.
